Strikers were similarly way ahead in the early stages of the chase before inexplicably staying in first gear through the second half of the chase. Wells ends unbeaten on 36 off 38 balls, not an innings he'll be framing to hang in the study at home. Ben Manenti's spell of offspin produced two soft dismissals and the Strikers couldn't get any momentum going to recover.

He got his hands underneath it but it didn't stick. Most fielders wouldn't have even gotten to cover the ground to make it a chance but Silk read it well off the bat.

Was really much easier for short fine leg to circle around but he hardly moved.
