END OF OVER:
20 | 9 Runs | BH: 160/7 | RR: 8.00

  • Matthew Kuhnemann1 (2b)
  • Beau Webster2-0-22-0
  • Liam Hatcher4-0-29-2

Phew, what a finish that was. Brisbane Heat win by three wickets and their season is still alive. Melbourne Stars stay bottom of the table. A terrific innings from Matt Renshaw, it nearly went wrong at the end but that's as well as I've seen him play in T20. Heat shouldn't really have let it get so close, although all that matters is the win. They remain seventh, but are close to the group of sides on 10 points

Afeef: "Takes a lot of guts to attempt to scoop when it's 4 needed from the last ball, and takes a lot of skill to execute it. Brilliant shot to cap off a great innings by Renshaw."

I'll wrap things up there for tonight. We'll be back tomorrow for more BBL with Sydney Sixers against Adelaide Strikers in the race for finals. Until then, from Peter and Gnasher, it's goodbye

Webster to Renshaw, FOUR, scooped to fine leg! And Renshaw has won it in incredible style. What a stroke for victory. Calmly goes across his stumps, gets the length he wanted, and gets just enough to reach the rope

Four needed off the last. Phew

So it's 9 off 6 balls. Who will bowl? Beau Webster. Qazi: "None of the teams want to win. What should one do in such a situation?" Five inside the circle
