kportal : "Steketee's missed catch of Bethell turned out to be costly for the Stars."
8:45pm An amazing recovery by the Renegades, who had slipped to 21-2 after the mandatory powerplay. Bethell and Seifert then put together 34, which laid the platform for Wells to walk in and stitch a more substantial partnership with Bethell. Both of them missed out on fifties, but injected the impetus the innings needed, ultimately enabling the Renegades to get close to 170, with Evans also producing a handy cameo towards the end.
The Stars will be a little disappointed with their bowling effort. They began well but lost their way once the Renegades mounted a fightback. Paris was their most successful bowler, with Mir also frugal, although at this stage, it seems the Stars will have to come up with something special to get over the line. Join us in a bit for the chase!
