END OF OVER:

  • Rishad Hossain5 (3b)
  • Peter Siddle4-0-30-3
  • Haris Rauf4-0-33-2

9:02pm An excellent bowling display by the Stars. They used the dimensions, bowled at the stumps and made the batters attack the longer square boundaries. Siddle was the most successful of the bowlers, picking up three. Rauf bagged a brace of scalps at the end too, with each bowler, barring Swepson, among the wickets.

An indifferent batting display by the Hurricanes. They could not come to grips with the Stars' plans, and struggled throughout. McDermott was the only batter to get into some kind of flow, but once he perished, the Hurricanes fell apart. This looks like a slightly tricky wicket, but with only 158 on the board, the Hurricanes have their work cut out.

Siddle to Meredith, OUT, another world-class grab, and the Hurricanes are falling apart! Sharp bumper on middle and leg. Meredith swings for the fences and the ball flies through to the keeper. Harper leaps into the air, flings out his right mitt and makes it stick. What a catch, and the Stars are tightening their grip on this game!

Siddle to Wade, OUT, Maxwell with some magic on the fence! Slower ball into the track on middle and leg. Wade skips down and swats it towards long on. Maxwell takes it mid-air and then parries it up, knowing he would land beyond the rope. He then returns to the field of play, completes the catch and sends Wade on his way!

Last over coming up. To be bowled by Siddle. 160 the target for HH now?
