3.55 pm Third time this season the Renegades have been bowled out for under 100. This was a monumental debacle. Some good bowling, some luck, but also some incredible tame dismissals - Rossouw and Nabi top that list - that epitomized a lack of fight. The fact that Renegades still claimed the Bash Bonus Boost point is a reminder that they were actually competitive in the first innings. Scorchers struggled early before Josh Inglis was aided by some careless and sloppy fielding with a pair of lives in his 72 as part of a century stand with Colin Munro. More than anything, the fielding highlighted the stark contrast between the two sides today. Scorchers were ruthless in the field, Roy setting the standard at backward point, compared to the lapses in concentration exhibited by the Renegades. That's it from this match. Flip on over for the second half of our BBL doubleheader coverage underway for the match between Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers.

Fawad Ahmed to Hatzoglou, OUT, that's it! Zips in a quicker legbreak on fourth stump, backs away to punch through extra cover, thin edge snapped up behind the stumps. All out for 89. Yikes. Scorchers more than double up the Renegades in a 96-run win.

William : "Honestly for T20s Livingstone should replace Moeen. He's a much better batter, and if he bowls spin then there shouldn't be an issue. It only makes their batting more freakish though "
