10.40 pm How crucial was that no ball which was not called on waist height to end the 13th over with Asif Ali going wild. Sixers may have won anyway, but we'll never know. Instead, they definitely win to come away with their first two points of the season. Hurricanes stay put on two points.
Sixers allrounder Hayden Kerr: "It was quite a nailbiter in the end but thanks to Silky and those safe hands, we got over the line. That was literally the game on the line there. And that's not the only catch of the night he's got for us. He got three wickets. It was nice to contribute with both. That's always the goal for me as an allrounder and it's nice to be scoring a few runs at the moment. In Big Bash cricket, ride the momentum wave and make the most of a few wins if you can get them back to back at home."
