1.6 slower ball does for Gilkes, and Stanlake has the last laugh! This is smart bowling. Brings out the change-up, on a length just outside leg. Gilkes, backing away, has designs of going over mid off. But the lack of pace means he is too early into the stroke. Long on was sent out a couple of balls ago for precisely this and Jordan, under the high ball, does the rest! 24/1
7.4 does not miss off stump this time! Another change-up and another wicket for Stanlake. Pitches on a length just outside off. Cuts in a touch and Konstas swings at it rather wildly. Loses his shape completely, having not picked the knuckle-ball either, and Konstas walks back for a 25-ball 28! 69/2
16.5 knocks him over! Fiery yorker, tailing into the batter's toes. Bancroft tries too squeeze it out but is late in bringing his bat down. The ball rattles into his boot and then slithers into the stumps. Stanlake with a moment of magic and the set ST batter is now walking back to the shed! 138/5
9.2 cleans him up with a beauty! Top bowling. Full just outside off and this decks back in sharply after pitching. Billings, perhaps looking at the field, thinks something shorter is in tow and cannot move his feet forward quickly enough. Pokes at it, leaves a gap between bat and pad, and hears the rattle of his stumps soon after. Hurricanes tightening their grip on this contest! 77/3
9.6 middle stump knocked back again, and Jordan is on fire! Hard length just outside off and this cuts back in at pace. Davies does not move his feet much and wafts at it away from his body. Gets done in on the inside and the ball thunders into the top of middle. Thunder in a bit of trouble now! 79/4
19.5 holes out to sweeper cover! Full, wide and sticking to the plan. Ellis dares Shadab to go inside out and even though he gets a good connection, it is not good enough. Chaudhary nearly over-runs it on the fence but recovers in time to snare the chance! 176/6

4.3 smart work by Sams, and Owen is outta here! Marginally short on the stumps. Owen rocks back and heaves it towards deep mid wicket. Sams takes it comfortably initially, only to then realize he might step onto the ropes. Pops it up into the air, goes beyond the ropes and then returns to complete the catch, while being on the field of play. Hang on. There is a check to see if Sams' right boot touched the rope as he was flicking the ball up. Seems fine but the third umpire is taking multiple looks at it. Third umpire is convinced it is a fair catch, and a timely wicket for the Thunder! 48/1
10.6 Chaudhary perishes, and he is livid with himself! Reckon he exclaimed "Oh, my god" the moment he hit that. Length ball on the pads and that was there to be hit. Instead, Chaudhary does not get a hold of it and deep backward square leg, running in, pouches it rather safely! 109/2
12.4 bowled'im! Googly on a length just outside off. McDermott backs away, trying to go inside out. Does not pick the googly, though, and does not get close enough to the pitch of the ball too. It sneaks past his flailing blade and then thunders into the top of off. Shadab is pumped, and the Thunder have a ray of hope! 124/3
13.5 that is an awkward swipe, and David is gone too! Banged into the track outside off. The angle was always going to make the pull a less percentage option. David still takes it on but in the end, has a frail flay at it. Spoons it up and mid off does the rest. The Thunder still in this! 141/4
18.1 nicked and gone, and this game turns again! Full and speared across the batter wide outside off. Wade goes chasing after it but all he manages is a feather through to the keeper. Wade will not be very pleased with that stroke, and the Hurricanes' lower order has now been exposed! 168/6
15.3 caught on the fence! Googly on a full length on off. Rehan's eyes light up and he looks to pop this downtown. Does not get it out off the middle, though. A little more near the toe-end and Bancroft, settling under the high ball at long on, makes no mistake. The Thunder still alive! 151/5
