11.40pm That's a wrap of this game. Thanks for your company and comments. Do come back tomorrow for more fun. Until next time, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off for Chandan Duorah and Venkat Raghav. Stay safe and cheers.

Pant: It was good, once you win the match everything is good. In the middle, I was under pressure, but good job from Avesh and the bowlers. Actually, it was special for me captaining in IPL and toss with MS. I have learnt from him and he's my go-to man. We thought whatever we have we have to work around this and put the best playing XI. We just wanted to finish the match before 1 over, we didn't think about the run-rate. Prithvi and Shikhar did a good job for us in the powerplay.

Dhawan, Player of the Match: I really enjoyed my batting and the way I was hitting the ball. Even Prithvi was hitting it well, bringing the form from Vijay Hazare. I knew the plan - because CSK used the plan (bowling wide of off) last IPL as well. I was playing the ball quite close to my body because the wicket was sticky and the ball was stopping. It was tremendous to watch Prithvi in his flow. He plays those shots effortlessly, he worked hard before this IPL. Happy that his hard work is playing off. I liked the Moeen Ali catch.

11.10pm Delhi Capitals have mowed down 189 with seven wickets and eight balls to spare. Shaw and Dhawan rattled off 65 in the powerplay and they never really let up. Both proceeded to half-centuries in a 138-run opening stand off a mere 13.3 overs. Though both batsmen fell in a space of three overs and the Capitals slowed down briefly, Pant finished it off with a pair of boundaries. This meant Raina's half-century in the first half was thrust into the shade. Perhaps, CSK should have gone harder at the top on a flat Wankhede pitch.

Dhoni: A lot depended on how much dew you would get. That's the reason we wanted to get as much runs as possible. The first few overs it was a bit tacky, and the batters did well to get to 188. Coming to bowling, we could have done better. The batters were hitting over the top, there was some boundary deliveries, where the execution wasn't nice. The bowlers will learn for the coming guys. As I said, you have to look ahead, especially when you have dew, you have to get extra runs. 7.30 start means opposition will have less amount of dew and we have to score those 15-20 runs extra. After that you need to get early wickets also. Well, if we keep consistently getting dew, 200 is something all teams have in mind. I felt both our openers got very good deliveries, and that can happen in a game like this.

Shaw: Feeling good, everyone contributed and the wicket was good to bat on in the second innings. From Australia when I was dropped, I worked on the back-and-across [movement], I focused with Pravin sir as well. I think it's working quite well. I don't want to think about India spot. I have to move on, if something is wrong with my technique, no excuses.

Gaurav: "My MoM is Prithivi, Nothing against Gabbar though but the pace at which he scored he took pressure of the scoreboard away"

KM SUDARSHAN : "For the sake of competitiveness, CSK should look more serious on the field. At the moment, they look ragged - waiting for things to happen. While this match is out of their reach, they should aim at showing serious body language on the field! "
