Rahul Challa: "Great performance by SRH bowlers. It's all upto the batsman now, to stay at the wicket unlike what they did against their second game against Punjab last year."

Sherlock: "Kudos to the Chepauk pitch curators. Like Gabbar highlighted yesterday, it seems like, in this IPL if you can adapt in Chennai, you might go deep in the tournament!"

Vinay K: "PBKS either 100-120 or 190-220. Nothing in between."

5.11pm So Punjab go down in flames for the second time while batting first. In different conditions this time - there was resistance early on, but it came apart in the middle. A difficult surface to bat on and they quite simply didn't handle the pressure. The run-out of Pooran didn't help, and that was where it all began. Hooda, Henriques and Shahrukh all got in, but none of them made it to the end of the innings. And that means Punjab are short - although it is difficult to say what is par and what is below on this pitch. But by all means, 120 will not bother SRH too much as they look for their first win of the season. Catch you in a bit for the chase.

Kaul to Mohammed Shami, 1 run, OUT, run-out looking for a run that wasn't there. Yorker, tailing in outside off. Chucks the bat at it. Cue-ended towards deep point. Makes a late decision to return for the second, after the fielder's already picked up the ball. And he isn't in the frame. Bairstow accidentally walks into the stumps but only one bail falls off. So the wickets are still in play with one bail on. He picks up the throw and breaks the stumps to end Punjab's innings

Mohammed Shami run out 3 (10m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Pizza: "On various surfaces, if bowlers miss their lengths by even a few inches, they get smacked around the park. In this IPL, it's great to see batsmen getting a taste of their own medicine. They arent adapting to the conditions, and are paying the price for it "

Kaul to Arshdeep Singh, 4 byes, Bairstow let's that through. A quick offbreak at length, from middle and off. Past the bat and the keeper doesn't stay down. That's drawn a big facepalm from the bowler

Tasmeem: "Any idea why Bhuvi isn't bowling? He has one over left still and SRH need him back to his very best as early as possible." --- He might have gone off earlier, I did catch him limping

Kaul to Ashwin, OUT, edged and taken behind! Kaul gets into the wickets as well. An offcutter, full and wide outside off. Shuffles and swings for the leg side. A thick edge floats up to Bairstow's right and he takes it easily

Khaleel's excellent spell ends. It looks like Punjab were prioritizing getting to the 20th over, which is important on a pitch like this. But how many can they get with two wickets left? Ashwin against Kaul
