Prashanth: "Pant's T20 hitting has been a disappointment of late. Losing shape, swinging wildly, trying to muscle everything - Not boding well for india for WC" --- I would say Pant has pretty much always had this thing about him: swinging when he feels he can get one away, irrespective of the situation and of him losing shape. It may look ugly at times, but still works for Pant more often than not.

Hazlewood after the first innings: "It is about par score. The ball is sliding down nicely, with it getting better towards the end. I've been working on a range of things. Every game throws up something different. The Test-match length works early. It is pretty sweaty, and dew has started to come down. Hopefully it suits us. The wind seems to drop, and it gets dewy."

Jv: "I think it's a good score considering DC's bowling line up vs CSK's fragile middle order!!"

7.42pm A total Capitals would take, although Shaw set them up for a lot more. There was a bit of a stutter with Iyer departing cheaply and with the experiment of sending Axar up not working, but Pant and Hetmyer, with their 83-run stand, ensured Super Kings have a solid total to chase. Another good effort from Hazlewood with the ball though.

Thakur to Pant, 2 runs, very good ball. A low full-toss outside off, and drilled to long-on with his bottom hand off. Pant gets his fifty too
