Amanjeet: "The run-rate graph and worm give a perfect representation of what Mr TM is saying on T20 Time-out right now - PBKS consolidate then power take off once in"
This looked like a familiar tale after a good powerplay for Kings was followed by Prabhsimran's wicket. Livingstone was outskilled by Chawla, Curran and Harpreet Singh could not get going. They started going a boundary an over and it was the 16th over by Arjun Tendulkar when sense left the building, it probably flew out of Wankhede with one of them sixes. Every ball was a highlight and it was a treat to watch. Chawla was brilliant with the ball but didn't get his full quota of overs. Archer had a hit-and-miss day, but him nailing yorkers at will was a positive. Green had an okay day, Arjun's first over was good, the second less and the third, well, not much positive there. Let's hope the chase is as exciting as the carnage there. Back in a bit for the reply.
Sajj: "We went from 6 sixes in first game to 14 sixes in one innings today. Such is T20"
Virender: "96 runs in last 5 overs. What's the record? " Sampath's on it already. It is the second most during that period (16-20) in an IPL innings. RCB scored 112 runs in their last five vs Gujarat Lions in 2016
9:20pm: 83 for 4 after 10, 214 for 8 at the end of the innings. A day to forget for Arjun. Jitesh, Curran and Harpreet peppered the boundaries. Jitesh credits his preparation and says he's not changed much and got full backing from his side in the mid-innings interview.
