9.16pm What a batting show from Titans on their home ground! They were just 50 for 1 in the powerplay and initial it looked like even 170-180 would be good here with some swing around, and the way Chawla was keeping the scoring down. But the way Manohar and Miller blasted those seven sixes together in a rapid stand after the platform laid by Gill's fifty, Mumbai had no answers in the end. They leaked 70 runs in the death (17-20) today - the most so far this IPL - that too after conceding 65 in the last game against Punjab Kings. Lots of questions to answer for their bowling, but for now they'll want to hunt this down with their batting firepower. Abhimanyu will take you through the chase.

Abhinav Manohar: I went in when a few wickets fell so Ashu pa (Nehra) told me to carry on for three and we knew we could make up for the runs in the end because we have the firepower and it paid off. There was an effort to get more runs in the middle over, and Hardik also said if we can go after their main bowler like Piyush Chawla
First six overs will be important with the ball moving, I'm sure our bowlers will do it.

ROY: "Very sad to see Arjun been kept under the wraps for death bowling. If you have to become a complete bowler, you will go for runs but one day you will achieve your mark."

AK: "Not sure for what they were protecting Tendulkar Jr for? He was good in the first two overs and they knew Meredith and Behrendorff were leaking runs. "

Adarsh: "MI's gamble on two injury-prone stars failed badly. 8 overs of Bumrah Archer in every game, and things would have been totally different."

Arun Prakash: "Tewatia's impact to GT cannot be measured just by looking at scorecard. That 5 ball 20 is as good as Gill's 50"

Bharat Anne: "This Innings is a crispy spring breeze after yesterday's airless match"

Behrendorff to Rashid Khan, 2 runs, he also gets a short and slow ball, pulls to the leg side with protection in the deep and it lands well short of the deep midwicket fielder who sprinted in. Two to end the innings by the time it's picked up

Wicket or not, it was a dot ball. Rashid comes on now

W
Behrendorff to Miller, OUT, Too high off Miller's pull as Behrendorff pitches it slow again, Miller swings because that's the only way to go now, mistimes it, and SKY settles under it after coming inside from the rope

Behrendorff to Miller, no run, a rare dot ball. Knuckle ball on length, and goes just over over stump past Miller's swing
19.3
1
Behrendorff to Tewatia, 1 run, 114.3kmh, slow and short again, Tewatia mistimes the pull this time for one and has twisted his back foot on the pivot. Hope it's nothing big. He is stretching it and looks ok
19.2
6
Behrendorff to Tewatia, SIX, Tewatia playing with the field too, another six! Fine leg is in, he shuffles across a long way for the short and slow ball at 112.1kmh, and pull-scoops it over fine leg for a six
19.1
6
Behrendorff to Tewatia, SIX, wide full toss around off, Tewatia laps it up and slaps it over the wide long-on boundary. Guess what, six more!

Behrendorff to Tewatia, 1 wide, tries a slower one but its' gone wrong down leg for a wide. Mumbai review it. That one went straight down to the keeper, remains a wide

200 on the cards now, never looked like that initially, but such is Titans' hitting and Mumbai's death bowling. Behrendorff over the wicket

MI Fan: "Umm...when is the next big auction? "

Meredith to Miller, SIX, on the other side now, make that two sixes in a row for the third six of the over! Outside off, not too wide but enough width for Miller to free his arms, smash that over the covers and land another one in the crowd
18.5
6
Meredith to Miller, SIX, pulled on the leg side, Behrendorff gets both hands to it, but he is too close to the top and wants to throw it back in, but he doesn't even catch it properly, and it goes over for six!

Meredith to Miller, no run, takes the pace off and angles it across Miller, who chases and misses

Meredith to Tewatia, 1 run, wide and low full toss outside off, this time he pushes it down to long-off for one
18.2
6
Meredith to Tewatia, SIX, he loves that leg-side boundary doesn't he? Shuffles a mile across off, Meredith follows him by going very wide too, but Tewatia wins by sweeping it in the bag gap on the leg side for six

Mumbai get some respite with 11 balls to go. Titans send out Tewatia, another left-hand batter

Amol : "Not just MI has a weak bowling attack, their bowling changes at death leaves a lot to desire. It reminds the conundrum RCB used to find itself few seasons ago!!"

W
Meredith to Manohar, OUT, nobody gets it right and Manohar falls! Meredith doesn't get the yorker right and sends down a low full toss on the pads. On another day, Manohar would have smoked it over the ropes on the leg side but he decides to go inside out and down the ground, doesn't get much distance and finds long-off

A Manohar c Behrendorff b Meredith 42 (30m 21b 3x4 3x6) SR: 200.00

What do Mumbai do now? They have Meredith already leaking 30 off three, Miller and Manohar looking ominous here for Mumbai

Green to Miller, SIX, a six from Miller too! Mumbai leaking runs in the death overs yet again, 22 from this one. Makes just a little bit of room, gets one in the slot on the stumps and nails that loft down the ground between long-off and long-on for another clean six
17.5
2
Green to Miller, 2 runs, attempts the yorker and Miller flicks it off his shoes in the gap on leg for two

Green to Manohar, 1 run, 1402.kmh, full and wide, he scythes it behind square in the air but it reaches deep third after a bounce
17.3
6
Green to Manohar, SIX, over long-off this time, six more! Clean hitting from Manohar, and he's demolishing everything. Not quite in the slot but it doesn't matter, his swing is so big and powerful down the ground, it clears long-off
17.2
6
Green to Manohar, SIX, monstrous six! That's gone miles in the air and beyond the midwicket boundary! Short ball, pulled with disdain right off the middle, and hands the crowd the ball with a big shot
17.1
1
Green to Miller, 1 run, leading edge on the leg side as Miller pulls the short ball, gets a top edge towards backward square but there's nobody there. What luck

Three to go, one each for Meredith and Behrendorff. Tendulkar or Green for the third? Green it is

Meredith to Miller, 1 run, excellent ball in the block hole outside off, he digs it out to point for one
16.5
4
Meredith to Miller, FOUR, slower at 113kmh, but it's too wide outside off and with that much width, Miller could have moved a few metres to off and still slammed it square for a boundary

Nish: "Will Rohit trust Arjun for one more over or will he give it to Green who was expensive in his first over?"

1
Meredith to Manohar, 1 run, 112.6kmh, another slower one on the stumps and Manohar works it down to long-on
16.3

Meredith to Manohar, FOUR, 136,6kmh! Got to feel for Meredith there. He nails the yorker, Manohar scythes it straight to short third where Chawla lets it slip through. Rohit is fuming!

2
Meredith to Manohar, 2 runs, 111.4kmh, slower to Manohar as well on middle and leg and he cleverly pushes it down to long-on with soft hands to return for two

Meredith to Miller, 1 run, slower one angling across well outside off, he slams it to deep cover

Four to go, Mumbai are looking for wickets. Meredith has two left and comes on. Miller might like his pace so expect some slower balls
