Titans make the playoffs again, they continue to dominate the league. They look to be enjoying their game and, similarly, we hope you enjoyed our coverage too. I'm Ekanth, signing off on behalf of my report-writing co-commentator Srinidhi, and our scorers, Venkat Raghav and Thilak Rama.

Harish: "FYI: Abhishek and Gill where childhood friends and playing for Punjab in domestic."

Shubman Gill, POTM: My IPL debut was against SRH, now I've my IPL hundred against them. Quite pleased. It's come a full circle. Hopefully I'll get more hundreds this season. I'm not the kind of person who dwells too much about my last innings. The focus is on what's need at the moment. The most satisfying moment was to hit Abhishek for a six because he is my childhood friend.

Hardik Pandya, GT Captain: Very proud of the boys. Two in two. Last year was different, we knew there'd be a lot of challenges this year. Boys have put their hands up in different situations. I think we've rightly earned the chance of making the playoffs. I spoke about where we stand and that there will be high expectations but we focus within the group. We tick a lot of good boxes, we made errors in our journeys but were very consistent. Even when we lose, we were in the game and made some mistakes. People were focusing on the right thing, that's why we're here. For me, bowlers are very close to my heart. I sometimes feel batters take a lot of credit. A couple of overs are always important. I'm a bowler's captain and will ensure they're well prepared and always get credit.

Mohammed Shami: I've been focusing on hitting the ball into the pitch, bowl to my strengths and on good lines. (On powerplay bowling) I've been trying to hit similar lines and make use of the new ball. That's always given me success. The wicket was the same as that in the last game. Mohit coming in has helped go well in the middle overs, given we have Rashid and Noor as well. (On what he's been eating) I'm in Gujarat, so will not get what I want (non-veg food), isn't it? (laughs)

Abhilash: "Every wicket today was a catch out just sparing that Noor's run out"

Third four-plus wickets haul today (Bhuvi Shami Mohit), the most in an IPL match. Only five T20 matches before had three or more 4-plus wicket hauls.

Stats from Sampath: Gujarat's 91 runs in their previous game vs MI were the most runs by a team after the fall of seventh wicket in an IPL game. Sunrisers bettered that scoring 95 runs today.

Mustafa Moudi : "Fun Fact: When these 2 sides faced each other for the first time in 2022, Rashid got dismissed on a Golden Duck with the Bat and conceded 28 Runs with the Ball. Same happeed tonight too !!"

Aiden Markram, SRH captain: Still believed at half-time that we were in with a chance but with four wickets in the powerplay, we went down. We have high-class bowlers and we thought the ball would swing for a while but it didn't. Gill did well. Credit to Bhuvi for bringing it back. Klaasen is a great player with class, power and a good cricketing brain. Unfortunately, the rest of the group did not support him. Lots of pride still left in the upcoming games. Maybe we'll give out a few opportunities and guys can finish well but sadly we haven't been good. Bhuvi showed us the way and Nattu was good as well.

11:23pm: A comfortable win for Titans. An expected cruise, Gill's slowdown while closing in on the hundred does not matter. Shami retained his new-ball magic. Mohit got a four-for. All is good in their camp. Sunrisers did well to go from 59 for 7 to 154 but that, led by Klaasen's solid fifty, is as good as it got for them. The game did drag on for close to four hours again but the game was on for only a few minutes as Sunrisers' batting crumbled.
