That brings an end to tonight's presentation. That was interesting from David Warner and Rilee Rossouw on the pitches at Kotla. Pretty scathing that they could never trust the home pitches, and lost all home advantage. On a true pitch, the best of their batting came through, and the value of their bowlers shone through. Kuldeep and Nortje were sensational. On a slow pitch, you negate the quality of Kuldeep because many other spinners can do well there. All this analysis will go into the final analysis. PBKS are also almost out bar a mathematical miracle. We take your leave now. The action never stops. See you tomorrow.

11.40pm Rilee Rossouw is the Player of the match. He says, and this is not verbatim: It was long overdue. I am chuffed it did come, and with the win. It is a good wicket, which suits our game. It is just natural the batting on this wicket. Credit to Livi, he played an unbelievable knock.

11.38pm David Warner says: It was a bad performance in the field but we will take the win. We lost the toss but batter with fluidity. The wicket helped after the inconsistent pitches at home. You want consistency from your home venue. We haven't been able to work out what am good total there is.

11.25pm Dhawan spot on with the analysis of his bowlers. They didn't pitch it up when it was seaming around. Khaleel and Ishant did. That was the big difference between the two sides. And then Nortje sealing it with the 16th and the 19th. Just heavy lengths with that extra bounce in the pitch.

11.20pm Shikhar Dhawan says, and this is not vebratim: It was frustrating, but I don't think we bowled well in the first six overs. We should have taken some wickets the way the ball was moving around. You always hope. After that no-ball, we hoped because Livi was playing a great knock. Even my decision to bowl a spinner last over backfired. And before that the fast bowlers didn't pitch the ball up in the powerplay. That was the plan but we didn't execute. It is hurting us. Every powerplay we are giving 50-60 runs and not taking wickets. We knew the first two-three overs it would swing, and we knew we could take our time. The first over also went maiden, which doesn't often happen, but it did happen.

11.16pm A consolation win for DC as the other batters leave Liam Livingstone stranded. He had absolutely no support in conditions that this chase was very possible. PBKS now need some kind of wild miracle to make it through. A weird tactical change today: Taide in for Raza ro accommodate Rabada

Sharma to Livingstone, OUT, hit straight to long-off. Gone for 94

LS Livingstone c Patel b Sharma 94 (69m 48b 5x4 9x6) SR: 195.83

Sharma to Livingstone, no run, thick outside edge to a length ball. Wide of deep cover. Could have taken two but doesn't run

Surely it is game over now

19.4

Sharma to Livingstone, no run, he has missed out. Just overhits this one. A plum full toss outside off, and he has slogged this to deep midwicket instead of long-off. Misses it by a mile

Free hit coming up. PBKS are still alive. They need three sixes. Or two sixes and a four. What have you done Ishant?

19.4

Sharma to Livingstone, (no ball) SIX, high full toss, drilled over wide long-off for a six, and there is a lifeline coming PBKS's way as this has been deemed higher than the waist. DC are not even reviewing it. That is strange. Oh they have reviewed it. The cameras have missed the signal from Warner. It is just above the waist, and the no-ball call stays

The only contest here is if Livingstone gets a hundred

Sharma to Livingstone, FOUR, wide full toss, drilled wide of deep cover for four
19.2
6
Sharma to Livingstone, SIX, low full toss, he goes deep in the crease and lofts him over long-on for a six

All over now although PBKS are mathematically still in this

Sharma to Livingstone, no run, full and wide, Livingstone tries to go over long-ff but is beaten. Just inside the tram line

Five sixes and a four required. No over-rate penalty, but that doesn't matter. He needs sixes

Nortje to Livingstone, 1 run, oh Nortje. After a superb run-out earlier he goes at the wrong end. Livingstone has pushed this straight at him and run off. Nortje goes for the striker and misses that too

Nortje to Livingstone, no run, and this is getting over now. Nortje goes full, doesn't allow him to get under it. Livingstone turns down the single, which doesn't make sense to me as the last ball is coming up

Nortje to Livingstone, no run, nails the yorker, and the inside edge goes straight to short fine. A yard either side, and he would have got four

It is game over now, you'd think. It is almost four a ball, and Livingstone is the only hitter left. Rahul Chahar is the new batter

18.3

Nortje to Harpreet Brar, OUT, no he is not looking for the single. The short ball is outside off, and beats his waft. Livingstone rushes through for a bye, makes it in with a dive, but Brar doesn't. Nortje has run him our

SM Curran b Nortje 11 (13m 5b 1x4 1x6) SR: 220.00

Perhaps now we can say it was fun while it lasted. Livingstone now might have to do it all on his own

Nortje to Curran, FOUR, misses the yorker. Curran is deep in the crease, and drives this over extra cover for four

Two big overs. Still 19 an over left. DC need someone to kill this with a 10-run over. Nortje to bowl. They are behind on over rate, and will most likely bowl with an extra man in in the last over

It is under three a ball now

Mukesh Kumar to Livingstone, SIX, that's a gift. A length ball down the leg side, and Livingstone is now waiting in his crease. Flicks it over short fine for another six. The third of this over

Mukesh Kumar to Curran, SIX, Curran shows why you can't be farming the strike with him. Slower ball, short of a length, outside off, and Curran upper-cuts it over backward point for a flat six

Mukesh Kumar to Livingstone, SIX, Livingstone is keeping this alive. What a single-handed effort so far. Mukhesh goes for the straight yorker, misses his length, and Livingstone gets under it to clear long-on with ease

Mukesh Kumar to Livingstone, 1 wide, wide outside off. Looking for the wide yorker but goes too wide

After all that, that last over was worth only the required rate. Three a ball still. Mukesh to bowl

Ahmed to Livingstone, 1 run, nearly a four but Kuldeep saves three at short fine leg. Livingstone will not be happy. This is the second leg-side offering he has missed this over. Flicks it to the left of short fine but Kuldeep puts the dive in

6
Ahmed to Livingstone, SIX, for a moment it looked like this was the game. Just a short-arm punch down the ground to a length ball, and it has cleared long-on by six feet or so
16.4
1lb
Ahmed to Curran, 1 leg bye, shuffles across first ball to try to go over short fine, is hit high on the pad, and takes a leg-bye. Khaleel has a huge lbw shout, not given, and they review it. Hit just above the knee roll but he is deep in the crease. He might even have got himself outside the line. Khaleel is fine on. the height but it is an umpire's call on the line of impact. Curran survives, DC keep their review

Sam Curran is in

"Livid-stone!!!" Rajkumar Lingav, and rightly so. He has had zero support tonight

Ahmed to Shahrukh Khan, OUT, mis-hit by Shahrukh. Straight to long-on. If he had responded to Livingstone and taken the second, Livingstone would have been on strike and wouldn't probably have hit a length ball straight down the throat of long-on. Sloppy batting from PBKS batters other than Livingstone
