9.15pm A good finish provided by Shashank Singh, but RCB will likely feel the happier side after this innings. They bowled well, and Punjab Kings never really looked like they got going. There was a critical partnership between Sam Curran and Jitesh Sharma and then Shashank provided the spark at the end. Yash Dayal was excellent, so was Siraj. Alzarri was good but conceded runs at the end. But overall, RCB will be happy with how the bowlers went. The score may not be what you are used to at the Chinnaswamy, but as Curran said, there's something in the wicket for the bowlers, so the chase may not be as straightforward for RCB. Join Ekanth in a bit to see how Kohli and Co. go!

Sam Curran: "I think it's probably slightly under-par but there's a bit in it for the bowlers. I think simple stuff. There's a bit in the wicket. With the new ball they bowled well and there's something for the spinners as well. We are going to go out there with a plan to defend 176."

Joseph to Shashank Singh, no run, Alzarri responds with a short ball outside off, but it's too wide. But RCB review the wide call now! Shashank had moved across the stumps, which the third umpire says is "significant". Says the movement of the batter is more than the ball is outside the line and instructs the on-ground umpire to reverse his decision!

Mohammed Siraj to Sharma, OUT, Short ball does the trick again! Second bouncer of the over, outside off. Jitesh looks to slap it on the off side but it goes high in the air. Anuj Rawat has been excellent with the gloves today and again, he makes no mistake. But wait! They are checking if it hit the Spider-Cam! But no reprieve for Jitesh after a check by the umpire. Seems to not have had any contact with the camera or the wires

Yash Dayal to Curran, OUT, What a brilliant catch! Take a bow, Anuj Rawat! Dayal directs a bouncer at Curran, who looks to pull but was cramped for room. Ends up gloving it. Rawat sticks his right arm up as he jumps in the air and plucks it out of the air. And that will be all for Sam Curran today. A few boundaries this over, but overall a fantastic spell from Yash Dayal. And he has another delivery to go!
