11.55pm That's all from us tonight, match 59 of this IPL which still has eight teams alive in the playoffs race, with only Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings eliminated. Tomorrow is KKR against MI in Kolkata, before the Sunday double-header brings two interesting matches. For now, it's goodbye and good luck from me, Vishal Dikshit, and Sidharth Monga. Ciao!

Shubman Gill is the Player of the Match: It's just a cramp, nothing more. When you have so many people supporting you, it gets much easier. Loved the freeness of it (partnership with Sudharsan), we didn't have targets in mind, we maximised every over and opportunity in front of us. We have a good camaraderie between us, we run the twos, we understand each other well. In terms of numbers, definitely it is [our best opening partnerships]. Mohit bhai has done it for us in the last couple of years and has done it tremendously for us. He was a revelation for us, one or two bad games happen. Honestly at one point 250 was for the taking and we fell short. In the last two-three overs they bowled well. I thought we were 10-15 short, not in terms of the match but in terms of net run rate.

Rashid Khan: They were amazing, we love to see them batting, Gill and Sudharsan, two of the best innings we've watched. Happy to get a couple of wickets after two wicketless games, I had a back issue and some shoulder problem. Hoping to be 100% fit. Once Dhoni comes into the stadium anywhere around the world, it's a different kind of love. We're so lucky to be playing with him. We also get every off him in those kind of moments.

Madhan: "Rutu.. Please loose the toss for the next matches.."

Prateek: "Everything is setting up well for RCB to qualify "

Gaikwad: Fielding let us down a little bit, we gave away 10-15 runs. Execution-wise we were good but they played really well. Two batters were exceptional and it's hard to control runs around the park. Our next game is a day game in Chennai (day after tomorrow), it's going to be tough against a tough team (Rajasthan Royals).

11.30pm A comprehensive win and that keeps Gujarat Titans mathematically alive! They jump from last place to eighth and CSK remain fourth with an NRR of 0.49, which takes some hit, but they're still miles ahead of DC and LSG who are also on 12 points, like CSK. Titans had a few glaring issues coming into this game and they've corrected all of them tonight - their top order wasn't scoring as quickly, their pace bowlers weren't as effective in the last few games, and Rashid Khan was leaking too many runs. Gill and Sudharsan corrected the first one with scintillating centuries with a stand of 210 for the opening wicket. Umesh Yadav and Sandeep Warrier bowled really well with the new ball to strike early, Mohit Sharma was excellent with his pace variations and knuckle balls under pressure, and eventually Rashid closed the match out with two wickets after going wicketless in three games.

Rashid Khan to Dhoni, FOUR, he's expecting the wrong'un again and he goes back to finally connect, and whip it behind square to end the night with a four

Rashid Khan to Dhoni, no run, the googly turns in, Dhoni can't connect as it goes off the pads

Rashid Khan to Dhoni, no run, takes a step down and whips this down to long-on for one. Oh, but they decide not to run

And now we have a spectator intruding on the ground to bow in front of the Lisan-Al Gaib with long hair in yellow

Rashid Khan to Dhoni, no run, a loud and never-ending lbw appeal from Rashid Khan for lbw! Not given, GT review it. It was the wrong'un that came in sharply, Dhoni was a long way forward and the ball went through to hit him on the back pad in front of the stumps. We're waiting for UltraEdge. No edge. Pitching outside off, impact in line, but bouncing over leg stump. The crowd loves it

Chants of "Dhoni, Dhoni" all around

Rashid Khan to Dhoni, SIX, make that two in two! Too short, this time he rocks back and dispatches it square of the wicket, again with one hand coming off the bat. Lands in the crowd

Rashid Khan to Dhoni, SIX, oh, Dhoni comes down the ground to take that on the full and flicks that with his powerful and whippy wrists over the cow corner for six!

More spin for Dhoni. Rashid to bowl his last

Sharma to Thakur, no run, 117.5kmh, and very aptly it's slow and deceiving well outside off, Thakur swings and misses

Excellent bowling with the lack of pace. Last ball for Mohit

Rashid Khan to Santner, OUT, gone this time, there goes the leg stump! Santner puts his front foot aside for the big hit but the ball hurries through him to rattle into the stumps

Rashid Khan to Santner, no run, quick on the stumps and he's beaten by pace, 94.1kmh. Sounded like an edge on his pad

Santner comes ahead of Thakur. 63 off 15

17.3
W
Rashid Khan to Jadeja, OUT, straight down long-on's throat! Flat and quick, much fuller, and Jadeja wants to go big down the ground but can't get much distance. Miller hardly moves to pouch that one

16.5
1
Sharma to Dhoni, 1 run, 108.2kmh, really slow length ball on off stump and Dhoni patiently pushes it down to long-off

20 balls to go, and the stadium has deafening noise because MS Dhoni has walked out. If not 67, how many can CSK manage? NRR matters even more at this stage of the league

16.4
W
Sharma to Dube, OUT, another good catch for Noor, anther wicket for Mohit and that's the end of Dube! Slow full toss, Dube swings down the ground but doesn't get much distance and Noor dives forward from deep midwicket to hang on to it

Sharma to Dube, no run, 132.5kmh, some pace on the short ball now but not all that much. Dube still misses it as it goes around head height. Not given a wide and Dube doesn't like it
