11.18pm And that is all from our live coverage tonight. See you tomorrow!

Devdutt Padikkal: To be honest it's been special, all I could do was wait my turn. When I had Covid all I wanted was to to come here and play, and when I missed the first one it really hurt me. The wicket was coming on really well, and when we get into a partnership like that it gets easier. No real tension when the hundred came, I told Virat to go for it. At the end of the day even if I didn't get a hundred it wouldn't have mattered to me if the team won. The conversation was very clear, we both realised when we were going good. There were times when he was going better, times when I was going better. We just wanted to rotate the strike.

Devdutt Padikkal is the Player of the Match.

Virat Kohli: It was an outstanding innings, he batted really well for his first season last time as well. Bit of a talk about accelerating after 40-50, this was the best way to put it to rest. Great talent, great one to look forward in the future. I had the best seat in the house. I think T20 is all about partnership batting. You can't always be the guy going dominant. When one guy goes, it's important for me to rotate strike, and vice versa. Tonight my role was different and I wanted to hang in there. In the end I picked my spots, the pitch was good. We spoke about it [the 100], he said finish it off. He said many more to come, I told him you tell me that after you get the first one. I want him to build from here and really help the team. He deserved to get the hundred today, flawless innings. We don't have many stand-out names in bowlers, but we have effective bowlers. Guys who can do it day in day out. Four out of four times we've been the stand-out team in the death overs. We actually restricted 30-35 runs. Dev's innings was outstanding, but for me the bowling which was aggressive, optimistic was key. I would just tell the fans not to get overexcited, we are being professional, we understand the momentum can go away from us quickly. One step at a time, not getting overexcited.

Glenn Maxwell: That was my favourite game to watch so far. Clinical from start to finish. I've certainly been looking to go out there, but the way those two went, they were on top the whole way through. Just trying to find a way to get better and better in every game. We're never satisfied with our work. Probably didn't bowl our best tonight. But when we're winning and not playing the best, it's a good sign with the team. I've not done any work with him (DDP). he's got a beautiful flow of the bat. Obviously he had Covid at the start of the year, felt a bit flat, but he cashed in.

Sanju Samson: Our batsmen did really well to get a score on the board but they did really well to chase without losing a wicket. We need to do some homework and need an honest review about our batting. That's what this sport is all about, we keep on failing and we keep on coming about. It puts you down but you have to keep on fighting.

Abhishek: "All RCB fans, lets start petition to cancel next year mega acution!"

Aayush: "Fizz was generous enough to not slip it past leg in the first ball of the over itself!"

Richard Wesley: "What a moment for young Padikkal... A master chase with the chase master at the other end!!! Big headache for the Indian selectors ahead of the WT20!"

10.54pm RCB emphatically reclaim the No. 1 spot, and their force has consigned Rajasthan to the bottom of the table. This is the third highest total chased down without the loss of a wicket. It's RCB's highest partnership in chase. Padikkal is the third youngest batter to get a hundred in the IPL . The youngest to get it in a chase. It's record after record. That was also the 14th hundred by an RCB player, the most for any franchise. Complete domination after Royals had done superbly to put up a decent score on the board.

Mustafizur Rahman to Padikkal, 5 wides, full and down leg and past the keeper. He's beaten on the flick, Samson's beaten on the dive to his right

Mustafizur Rahman to Kohli, 1 run, slower ball at a length on middle stump, punched to extra cover's left

1lb
Mustafizur Rahman to Padikkal, 1 leg bye, we have a review for lbw here. He's copped a full toss on the pad, but that looked to hit him outside leg stump as he was beaten on the flick. Yes, hitting outside leg, going down leg

Mustafizur Rahman to Padikkal, FOUR, drills it past extra cover and brings up his maiden IPL hundred! Pristine drive to cap off a pristine innings. This is just outside off, his front leg is out of the way and he goes inside-out, all along the floor, to the fielder's left. His team-mates are on their feet. Another milestone in a fairytale career

Sakariya to Kohli, no run, short of a length and he walks into this, trying to clip through square. Cops it on the body

Sakariya to Padikkal, 1 run, low full toss at leg stump, short-arm whip to long-on's left and they only take a single

Akhil: "By the way, that Mustafizur's over was the only one without a boundary. Needs to be appreciated considering the mood the batsmen are in."
