Scorer: Sudeep Poojar | Commentator: Sreshth Shah

That's time for us to say goodbye. Congratulations to KKR fans, commiserations for our friends rooting for Delhi Capitals, and if you're a fan of Indian cricket, there were plenty of positives to take home irrespective of which side you support. See you tomorrow for more IPL action. This is Sreshth saying bye on behalf of Sudeep, Chandan and Himanshu.

Sunil Narine, the Player of the Match, for his highest T20 score (85 in 39) and a wicket: "(Happier with batting or bowling?) Cricket is all about batting so looking to contribute more as a batter. That said, I still enjoy by bowling. (On the team joke that he does not attend batting meetings) I have one role and the less I know the better it is for me. (Batting lower down in Abu Dhabi Knight Riders) We had sufficient batters there so I wasn't needed. At the end of the day it is what the team needs. If they need me to bat, i will bat. (Plan with Salt) He is aggressive and gets the scoring going so all the pressure isn't on me. (As well as you've bowled?) On a wicket like that we wanted to win by a bigger margin so it helps later on in the tournament."

Winning captain Shreyas Iyer: "(Did you think about crossing 277?) No no, the way we started we thought 210-220, but 270 was icing on the cake. (Going hard in the powerplay - pre-planned?) As I said in the toss interview, Sunny is there to take on the bowlers, and if he cannot the rest of us should. That's the plan. (Raghuvanshi) He was fearless from ball one. His work ethic is phenomenal. He analyses situations well. He is a smart batter, shots were pleasing to the eye. (Bowling - Starc, Varun with wickets) Good to see bowlers stepping up and taking responsibility. They supported each other in their successes. We've been observing that last few games. (Harshit Rana OK?) Don't know. He was holding the shoulder. I know how he is feeling with shoulders. Will find out. (Vaibhav) The way he came back after conceding two overs early to take wickets. That is the character we need. (Three wins in three) You always have to be down to earth, especially in the IPL."

NEW: All the stats highlights from the KKR batting innings

Mitchell Starc, two wickets tonight: (What worked tonight?) Not changing too much. In T20s, you get some dropped chances and some edges and they don't go your way. But we are 3-0 and that's what it is all about. (Biggest price tag. Struggled with wickets early on) Nothing really as I said before. Games come thick and fast. It is T20 cricket, it can get brutal. You take a bit of luck here and there. We are 3-0, been clinical with the bat, so personal things aside, the team is going fantastic. Nice to have Marsh and Warner in the pocket. Another way win. (Vaibhav Arora and the short ball) That is all him. He was fantastic, using the short ball really well. We talk more in training and in bowling meetings. Just talking about that side of things. They may have questions, we have little conversations, certainly not me telling them what to do."

Mustafa Moudi : "85 with the Bat, A Wicket and excellent Economy Rate with the ball and a Catch as a Fielder. Narine has contributed in every department tonight !!"

Rishabh Pant, losing captain: Our bowlers were all over the place. We just didn't turn up on the day. Today was one of those days. As a batting unit, we only wanted to keep going hard as a team. I would rather get all out as a team than not go for the target. (Some reviews not taken) I think it was quite loud here. At the same time, couldn't see the timer on the screen. There was some problem on the screen. But there are some things you can control, some things you can't. (Use of Axar, only one over) See the thought process was that we didn't want to use spinners but our fast bowlers were going through the motions. I think it is time for reflections as an individual. We need to learn from these mistakes and come positive in the next match. (Pant's own body) Doing fine. Getting out there. Enjoying every day but cricket has its own ups and downs."

11.18pm So KKR win their first three games, of which two have been away from home! This 106-run win now also sends them to No. 1 on the points table.

There wasn't much pressure for their bowlers after the batters posted 272, and the seamers Starc and Arora very nearly ended the chase in the powerplay. From there on, the Capitals saved some blushes with Pant and Stubbs hitting two attractive half-centuries, but Varun and Narine closed the deal swiftly thereafter. KKR win comfortably after posing the second-highest score in IPL history, stopped from breaking the record only courtesy a terrific Ishant Sharma 20th over in the first innings.
