A perfect outing for SRH but that's just game one on Sunday. Do follow Shashwat's coverage of CSK vs RR here, thanks for joining us for this game. Goodbye for now.

Mitchell Starc, POTM: Been a good day. All round, we were fantastic. I don't think there are too many egos in T20 cricket, you have to hang for dear life. You have to try and do things you don't normally do and find leeway against batters, nice it came off today. (On not bowling full to get Head) I've played for long enough, so I know what to do. Gotta think outside the box, even as an older player you have to bowl different balls. Glad that worked out. It's great to get into a new, young group and form new relationships with guys you haven't played with.

Axar Patel, DC captain: You have to be 'up' every match, all ten teams have come to play well. Our focus was on just on us and not SRH. Thought I'll bowl two of Starc in front, but he got three early, and I knew SRH were attacking so he was given the third over and that worked out. Experience is beneficial, two-three players have led the franchise too, they give suggestions. I take what I want, but they're given a free hand. We'll see how the conditions will be in Kotla and play accordingly.

Tristan Stubbs: Surface looked a touch slow and was spinning throughout the day. Cutters worked, so it wasn't the easiest to bat. We kept it simple, put good fielders in the hotspots and conserved our energy while fielding as it was hot. Faf was amazing, new guys have done phenomenally, hope to keep going. I've tried my best to learn as much as I can from Kevin Pietersen. Trust me I'm trying (smiles).

Pat Cummins, SRH captain: Aniket gave us a score but we lost a few early scores. Not all bad shots, run outs too, it happens. I don't think it's margins with our style, not everything went our way in the last two games. Maybe we just need to do one or two things differently and the results would change. Aniket wasn't well known but was super impressive coming into the tournament, he was fantastic and gave us half a chance. Overall, guys have shown glimpses of what they can do, don't think we'll change too much.

Naresh: "Sad that Aniket ended up on losing side"

Sushobhit : "@Babu: We're still waiting for the DC collapse. Jokes apart, I'm a DC fan and I've seen DC implode in the past, but not today."

Anonymous: "Nobody striked at higher than 190, and then there's Rahul sitting at 300 SR "

6:40pm: A thumping win for DC, with all of four overs to spare. The chase was completely one-sided, Faf du Plessis got off to a flier. JFM didn't get going but supported his partner. For SRH, Cummins and Shami being taken down early is a problem. Zeeshan Ansari picked up a three-for, but the game was effectively done by then. All of DC's batters got going, KL Rahul attacking from the get-go is a promising sign with two wins on the trot.

Mulder to Stubbs, 1 run, Pulled with a twirl. It's into the ground and to deep midwicket. Stubbs has gotten the better of his fellow South African

Mulder to Stubbs, FOUR, Chipped drive is uppish but in the gap to the right of the infielder at cover, long-off runs to the left but in vain. Was a length ball just outside off, Stubbs took a decent forward stride and hit it with a lunge

Mulder to Stubbs, no run, Tries to slug the length ball over long-on, misses. It goes through fourth stump

Mulder to Stubbs, FOUR, Deep in the crease again, this time Stubbs pulls it through backward square leg. Was actually a good bouncer, around head-height, Stubbs had to jump up and swat the ball into the ground while swivelling
