2.10pm That was a manic sequence of events to close out play. Pakistan's players gather into a huddle again. They need this. They need to gather their thoughts and remind themselves to not concede an inch. They have missed way too many opportunities on the field. It may end up not costing them, but for that they need to make sure they aren't lax with the bat. Because this won't be an easy total to chase. And Pakistan have never had to chase down more than 200 because of how brilliant their bowling has been all tournament. This will be the sternest test for their batting order yet. Top innings from Gill. What a tournament he's having! That average just keeps swelling and smashing roofs. Gets the first century by an Indian this tournament and does it on the big semifinal. Can the bowlers back him up? Be back shortly to find out.

Gopi: "The last over looks like a scene from Shakespeare's 'Comedy of Errors'. But then, these are Under-19 kids we are talking about, we can't be so harsh." It's still top-flight cricket, surely they've been taught basics like backing up a throw?

Naveed: "After this performance in the field it will be miracle if Pakistan wins this one. How can they miss 8 run outs. As a fielding unit Pakistans U19 team is as good as the senior team"

Hamad Javed: "If I were the pakistan coach I would be grilling every single fielder on the team. Has no one taught them to back up the wicket on the bowler's end? I count at least 6 run out chances. Many many singles converted to doubles, many catches dropped....and then you expect to win a match? Soley based on their fielding, pakistan do not deserve to win. "

Muhammad Musa to Shubman Gill, 1 run, a brilliant catch at long-off by Hassan Khan. But it was a free-hit so the batsman won't be out. But he's certainly saved a boundary. Too full again, launches it straight over and doesn't entirely get hold of it. Hassan runs back and turns around to snaffle a stunningly-judged catch in front of the boundary. Gill thinks he is out. Hassan completes the catch and throws the ball away in frustration. And then Gill takes the single, realising late

Muhammad Musa to Shubman Gill, (no ball) 2 runs, dropped. Also a no-ball so it doesn't matter anyway. Pakistan are finding new ways of giving India everything they want. It was too full outside off and he couldn't get underneath it entirely. Ends up chipping it in the air towards long-off. The bowler has overstepped. Last ball of the innings, and he can't keep his foot from sliding out of the line. This is shoddy. Also Gill's hundred!

One ball left, one run for the hundred

Muhammad Musa to Porel, 1 run, another run out chance missed and they concede the single. I have lost count of how many run out chances they have missed today. He wasn't even in the frame on this one. Just pushes it straight to point for fielding practice and takes off blindly. Pakistan are missing the basics here.Nobody backing up the throw

Muhammad Musa to Shiva Singh, OUT, yorker on off, pins him in front. Can't squeeze it away as it dips and hits the back boot. Oh boy, is Gill going to be left stranded here?

Muhammad Musa to Shubman Gill, 1 run, in the aiiir.... and nobody gets to it. Would you believe it? Trying to heave it over the leg side and he slices it in the air as the bat handle turns in his hand. It was extra cover's catch but he backed off and he and the bowler end up staring at each other's face

Muhammad Musa to Shiva Singh, 1 run, direct hit and he was gone by a country mile. Shiva does the right thing and sets off for the single immediately to turn the strike over to the centurion-in-waiting. But he does so after pushing it straight to point

Muhammad Musa to Shivam Mavi, OUT, gone, straight into the hands of midwicket. Full, coming into him, clipped off the pads but can't keep it down

Gill on 98, but Mavi on strike for the last over.

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Shubman Gill, 2 runs, full toss, will that be a no-ball for height? No, it won't. Slapped to long-off. They sprint back for the second and the throw comes on at the bowler's end, the wrong end, much to the annoyance of the keeper
