1.40pm A few good partnerships and some handy knocks through the order from Australia add up to leave India staring down a record run chase in an Under-19 World Cup final. This is the highest score in an Under-19 final and Australia will be delighted, having won the toss and opted to bat. Of course, India have a very strong batting lineup, but Australia have four hungry fast bowlers, who will be relishing their chance to bowl here in Benoni again. Harry Dixon and Hugh Weibgen did well at the top, then after Naman Tiwari removed the set batters, it was Harjas Singh and Ryan Hicks who added 66 runs for the fourth wicket. Harjas went on to hit a fifty, repaying the faith shown in him by the team management. Limbani, who had castled Sam Konstas early, returned to take two more wickets, but after Saumy Pandey trapped Harjas lbw, it was Oliver Peake who played a controlled innings under pressure, keeping the runs going and accelerating at the death to ensure Australia end with a strong score. It should be a cracker of a chase. Join Shashank after a short break.
Harjas Singh: "It was good to start off, especially wit the pacers bowling well and the spinners as well. Had to take my time, with the fielders back, had to get singles. I'd say spin is my strong point, yeah. Touring Sri Lanka for a week or so helped. [On Australia's total] Definitely happy, especially with our bowling lineup. Hopefully we can defend it."
Utsav : "Didn't get bowled out, have an extra bowler, good bowling conditions and runs on the board. Australia must be feeling good about this."
Naman: "Ind is letting this slip away from them..250 Target in a Final can prove too much at the end for them."
Karl: "\Win lose or draw Peake deserves a lot of credit. Two games in a row now he's played a crucial hand."
