5.20pm An excellent last over from Jonassen and an equally impressive fifty stand from Harmanpreet and Vastrakar to put on a competitive 277. Anything under 260 would have been below par, in my opinion, and this is surely a total India will be happy to defend especially after they were asked to bat in overcast conditions. Darcie Brown, coming in for Sutherland, got Australia two early strikes and it looked like India were in trouble again, before Bhatia and Mithali Raj struck steady fifties to set the platform for the finish Harmanpreet and Vastrakar could provide. Some nervousness had kicked in, in between for India when they lost wickets in a cluster again, and were 213 for 6 with nearly eight overs but good batting conditions and some powerful hitting from Vastrakar also took the pressure off Harmanpreet, who swept and swept her way to 57 off 47. Yastika Bhatia: Two wickets had fallen so Mithali di and I had a chat to go at 4-5 runs an over and not lose a wicket. I've been batting at No. 3 in the past, in domestics and in Australia so I it was no surprise for me when sir told me yesterday that I'd bat at No. 3. Brown bowled really well and due to windy conditions they were finding it difficult to control their line. I think it will be a close game and it looks defendable.
