7.59pm Babar and Rizwan walk out as India have a chat in the huddle. I see Ishan Kishan in there. He might be on for Hardik Pandya. Will try to confirm that soon. Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the ball and slip.

7.56pm Thanks again, KK. Hello again everyone. How you feeling?

Zahid Javid: "Mark my words, those 10 runs going to hurt Pakistan... Extremely good bowling wasted with such pathetic runs"

Aniruddha: "Very poor performance from team India. It is Pakistan's game to loose now."

Bilal haider: "Pakistan opted to bat second considering 150-160 target And they have done expectionally well only the nerves are on thier path to beat the favourites on the grandest stage of them all.Good luck Greens :)"

7.49pm One half of this game is done, and so far it's been riveting. Pakistan were superb with the ball and on the field for most part, and they've done very well to restrict India to 151. India, for their part, have done well to get there, having been three down inside the powerplay. It's anyone's game from here. What more can we hope for? Join Varun Shetty in a bit when this blockbuster resumes post-intermission.

Shaheen Shah Afridi: "It was good that I could execute my plans. I worked in the nets yesterday on my swing, because it becomes difficult for me if it doesn't swing. Early on, I just wanted to get wickets so it'll be advantageous for my team. The ball is coming on to the bat, so hopefully we'll chase this down comfortably."

Venkat: "Easy chase for Pak, if they are patient and stick to their senses"

Sohail Ahmed Khan: " A total both teams will be happy with"

sravan: "Bumrah has to boom and Shardul be the Lord if Ind are to defend this." -- Shardul is the only man in cricket who can lord it from the dugout as well.

Jawad Arif: "Those 17 runs off shaheen over are going to prove costly for Pak" -- I'm still amazed at how such a good over went for so many runs.

Haris Rauf to Kumar, 1 bye, is that a wide? Nope, and India finish on 151. Bhuvneshwar steps across to the off side, looking for the scoop past short fine, and Rauf bowls it wide outside off, a shortish slower ball. Looks to stab it away but can't connect, and they sneak a bye to end the innings. Was outside the tramline, but that's okay in Marais Erasmus's judgment because the batter had moved so far across
19.5
2
Haris Rauf to Kumar, 2 runs, this is quite smart from Bhuvneshwar. He knows he's not a big hitter, but Pakistan can't bring the field in either. No one in the circle at midwicket, and he clips a length ball into that region, and picks up another easy two by the time deep midwicket makes his way in from the deep
19.4
2
Haris Rauf to Kumar, 2 runs, fullish slower ball close to off stump, and Bhuvneshwar steps forward and clips it gently towards long-on, relying on the gentleness of the shot to allow him to get two. They hurry through, but there's a third-umpire's judgment to be made at the end of it, at the danger end. Direct hit might have been close, but Shami's made it well before the bowler collects and disturbs the furniture

Mohammed Shami is in now, at No. 9. He can hit them far, if he connects. A big if usually. But it's Bhuvneshwar on strike.

W
Haris Rauf to Pandya, OUT, another slower ball, on a length outside off, and that's proving unhittable today, at least when Rauf delivers them. Looks to hit it with a straight bat over the bowler's head, but he ends up skewing it over the off side, and deep cover runs in and takes it close to the 30-yard circle

2
Haris Rauf to Pandya, 2 runs, slower ball, into the pitch, gets up around bail-high on off stump. Flat-batted to the right of long-on, and they can pick up two
19.1
0
Haris Rauf to Pandya, no run, slower length ball outside off, and Pandya swings too early, looking to hit leg-side, and misses. That turned like a proper offbreak

17 off what was for most part a superb 19th over. And Pandya is on strike for the 20th.

END OF OVER:

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Pandya, 5 byes, oh my, it's all happening, and Pakistan are leaking runs that they shouldn't! A good free-hit ball, bouncer slanting across and finishing around the right shoulder. Pandya misses the pull, and tries to run a quick single to retain the strike. Rizwan's underarm throw misses at his end, then the bowler picks the ball up and flings a wild throw past the stumps at his end, and it rushes away too quickly for long-on to stop to his right

Free-hit coming up. Might have been front-foot rather than height, but I'm not entirely sure.

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Pandya, (no ball) FOUR, bad ball to finish a terrific over. Possibly looking for the wide yorker, ends up slipping out a wide full-toss, and Pandya opens his bat face to guide it into the gap between deep point and backward point. And it's judged to be a no-ball! On height, I think.

Ashhad Khan: "Shaheen Afridi is not only the future of bowling of cricket Pakistan, he is the future of international bowling. Take a bow"

18.5
1
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Kumar, 1 run, full on the stumps, clipped into the midwicket region and the bowler rushes there to keep it down to one

Just eight balls left, with India still 17 away from the 150 mark. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is in at No. 8.

18.4
W
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Kohli, OUT, got him, this has been an outstanding over from Shaheen! Slower bouncer, gets up around the right shoulder, and Kohli is too early on his attempted pull. All he manages is a top-edge that plops gently to the right of the keeper. That's the first time Pakistan have dismissed him in a T20 World Cup game

V Kohli c †Mohammad Rizwan b Shaheen Shah Afridi 57 (94m 49b 5x4 1x6) SR: 116.32

1
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Pandya, 1 run, perfect bouncer, quick and rising steeply, over Hardik's front shoulder. Too late on the attempted hook, and he gloves it, or arm-guards it, loopily to land between the bowler and keeper rushing in from opposite directions
18.2
4
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Pandya, FOUR, unlucky, for the bowler. Perfect off-stump yorker, and Hardik jams his bat down on it, looking only to protect his stumps, and he ends up squeezing it to the fine third man boundary
18.1
0
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Pandya, no run, shortish slower ball angling into that wide line again. Tries to flat-bat it through mid-on/midwicket, but he can't connect
18.1
1w
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Pandya, 1 wide, wide yorker straight up, but it's judged as being too wide after Pandya reaches out, throws his bat at the ball, and fails to connect

Right, so Hardik Pandya comes on strike for the first time. Afridi returns, left-arm over.

Sachin: "This is the best performance by the Pakistani team in the world cup in terms of bowling and fielding."

Venky: "Is Imad Wasim injured? Why isn't he bowling?" -- I think he's seen as a powerplay specialist, pretty much.

Hasan Ali to Kohli, 2 runs, length ball angling in towards off stump, steps out and clips towards deep midwicket, who has to run in quite a distance, so Kohli picks up another two
17.5
W
Hasan Ali to Jadeja, OUT, fullish slower ball outside off, and the lack of pace does Jadeja in. He's looking to hit over mid-on initially, I think, but he's early on the shot, reaching well in front of his body, and then tries to adjust by bringing his wrists into the shot. All that does is send the ball down the throat of deep midwicket

Hasan Ali to Jadeja, FOUR, poor ball. Fine leg is inside the circle, and Hasan angles this shortish ball down the leg side. Jadeja just helps it on its way, over the man at short fine

Hasan goes around the wicket to Jadeja.

17.3
1
Hasan Ali to Kohli, 1 run, length ball on off stump, pushed to deep cover and gets to the other end
17.2
4
Hasan Ali to Kohli, FOUR, bad ball. Wide, back of a length, slower ball, and Kohli puts it away, waits on it and flat-bats it over extra-cover
17.1
2
Hasan Ali to Kohli, 2 runs, back of a length, angling into middle and leg, and Kohli clips it towards deep midwicket, without a lot of weight on the shot, so he knows he's getting two if he hurries. He does, and he gets to yet another fifty against Pakistan at a T20 World Cup. It's taken him 45 balls, though.

Terrific over from Rauf, just four off it. Jadeja's promotion has so far brought 9 off 11, but he's capable of quickly turning it around.

END OF OVER:

Haris Rauf to Kohli, no run, slower length ball wide of off stump, and Kohli swings and misses, looking to carve it through the covers off the front foot
16.3
1
Haris Rauf to Jadeja, 1 run, nicely bowled. He knows Jadeja wants to make room, so he bowls a slower length ball at his legs. No room or pace to work with, so he just pushes into the covers and takes the single
16.2
1
Haris Rauf to Kohli, 1 run, good-looking shot, but just one. Full outside off, and Kohli ends up making more room than he needs. Wants to drive over extra-cover, but ends up hitting it squarer than he wants, on the bounce to sweeper cover
