Afeef: "Good finish from Stubbs, only batter to finish with a strike rate above 100. Perhaps we will realise the importance of Reeza's knock when Nepal will bat."

Jenish: "Never really thought I'd see the Win Predictor tilt that heavily in Nepal's side"

Bimal: "Wow! Feels soo good dominating the world's best batters. Just a bit of discipline in batting and we will cross the line. Let's go Nepal!"

8.58pm Well, what a display from Nepal. They could have hardly asked for more from their bowlers, as the spinners throttled the South African batters right throughout the innings. Sandeep Lamichhane might have been the headliner coming into this, but it was the supporting acts of Kushal Bhurtel (4 for 19) and Dipendra Airee (3 for 21) that did the damage. The wicket itself became slower as the innings progressed, aiding the spinners significantly. As such the South African batters struggled to really get going, with only Reeza Hendricks (43 off 49) and Tristan Stubbs (27 off 18) contributing anything of note. All in looks like we might be in for another low-scoring thriller. Abhimanyu will be with you in a bit for the start of the chase.

Bhurtel to Rabada, OUT, Bhurtel ends with a four-for! Rabada saunters down the track and looks for a big heave over long-on, but the googly beats him all ends up. Easy stumping to end the innings. South Africa end on 115 for 7

K Rabada st †Aasif Sheikh b Bhurtel 0 (1m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Ravi: "Can Nepal Dream? can they? surely they can."

19.5
W
Bhurtel to Jansen, OUT, Jansen holes out! This was slightly back of a length as Jansen goes back and looks to muscle this over long-on. It's off the toe-end on the bat as Sah rushes in from the long-on boundary and takes a good catch falling forward

M Jansen c Sah b Bhurtel 1 (9m 4b 0x4 0x6) SR: 25.00

19.4
1
Bhurtel to Stubbs, 1 run, good length leg break, goes back and nudges this to the right of the bowler. They want to two but Bhurtel hares to the ball to keep it to one
19.3
0
Bhurtel to Stubbs, no run, looks for the reverse sweep but can't connect
19.2
2
Bhurtel to Stubbs, 2 runs, full on off, carved into the covers, misfield allows for two
19.1
6
Bhurtel to Stubbs, SIX, Tossed up and outta here! This was a risky from Bhurtel, as he floats it up on off, but Stubbs has the reach and he just clubs this flat over long-on. Just the second six of the innings

DaWolf: "Bhurtel surely needs to bowl out after 2/10 off 3 overs?" --- You called it, here he is.

Aditya Kandregu: "Loving these pitches in USA and West Indies…making a T20 match equal for batters and bowlers!!!"

Bohara to Stubbs, 1 run, wide yorker, looks to reverse paddle this fine but can't beat the man in the ring. 100 up!

Bohara as Nepal turn to pace at the death

W
Airee to Miller, OUT, Sliced and gone! Airee's great day continues! This was tossed up on off, slows it up a touch. Miller goes hard on the drive across the line, but there's just enough turn to take the edge as this pops up straight to Lamichhane at short third

DA Miller c Lamichhane b Airee 7 (18m 10b 0x4 0x6) SR: 70.00

  • David Miller6 (8b)
  • Tristan Stubbs10 (7b)
  • Sandeep Lamichhane4-0-18-0
  • Dipendra Singh Airee3-0-17-2

Lamichhane ends wicketless then, but it's a very economical spell for just 18 runs.

1
Lamichhane to Miller, 1 run, good length, angled in from around the wicket. Tucked square on the onside for one
16.5
1
Lamichhane to Stubbs, 1 run, good length on the stumps, nudged to the right of the bowler for one

Lamichhane to Stubbs, 2 runs, tossed up on off, driven hard to long-off. Bit of a bobble leads to another misfield and a couple more
16.3
2
Lamichhane to Stubbs, 2 runs, Reverse paddle sweep now, bounces this over slip for a couple
16.2
4
Lamichhane to Stubbs, FOUR, Misfield goes for four! Stubbs powers this sweep as Karan at deep square leg overruns this and misreads the spin. Inexperience showing there perhaps
