7.30pm Dwayne Smith, take a bow. He's single-handedly muscled Tridents to the highest CPL score at this venue. Guyana Amazon Warriors, needing to desperately win this to stay alive in the competition, have to bat out of their skins. 159 on the surface may not look the most intimidating T20 score, but the surface is a slow one where shot-making isn't all that easy for a new batsman coming in. Remains to be seen if the effect of dew will be minimal.

Kane Williamson was the perfect foil to Smith. The pair negated the spin threat - particularly Rashid Khan's - rather effortlessly. Perhaps that Williamson has played a lot of him at Sunrisers Hyderabad helped. Warriors were poor on the field, and have conceded at least 15 more than they would've liked.
