7.32pm I'm not going to sugar-coat this, it was one of the worst T20 batting innings I have ever seen. On a surface that was hardly poor, the Stars have huffed and puffed to 100! Their planning was decent, but their execution was downright awful. Game awareness - cross, skill level - cross, negating the efficiency of the Warriors bowlers - cross. So many crosses don't often result in a high score. But the Warriors bowlers were terrific too, they stuck to their plans, bowled to their fields, the fielding was fantastic. Surely they've done enough? Back soon.

Emrit to Taylor, SIX, they get 100. Taylor stays back, gets a legcutter, and thrashes that over long-on. He timed that alright. But that's not a good sign for the Stars, because it means there isn't much wrong with the surface

All they can hope for is 100

19.5
1
Emrit to Ambris, 1 run, a low full toss on off, driven away to long-on for one more
19.4
1
Emrit to Taylor, 1 run, another legcutter, the fourth in the over, 115 kph, mis-timed to long-on
19.3

Emrit to Taylor, no run, 118 kph, that was six, if he connected. Full outside off, another legcutter. Beats Taylor on the outside edge. Exuberantly wild swing

Emrit to Taylor, no run, another legcutter outside off, Taylor misses a swing, misses runs.

W
Emrit to Shillingford, OUT, a short legcutter outside off, Shillingford chooses a good option - to try and go over cover - but execution and planning are two very different things. All he can do is punch a drive to cover.

S Shillingford c Jacobs b Emrit 2 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 66.66

Can the Stars get to 100? This has been a truly miserable innings from them

2
Sohail Tanvir to Ambris, 2 runs, ooh, that was right in the slot. Full and straight, driven to long-on. Shillingford comes back for two. Tanvir should be at the stumps. That extra run is on him. An easy run-out if he was
18.4
1
Sohail Tanvir to Shillingford, 1 run, a low full toss, dipping late, patted to backward point. Good from Shillingford, but nowhere near enough
18.3
1
Sohail Tanvir to Ambris, 1 run, overpitched outside off, drilled to long-off. Just one
18.2
0
Sohail Tanvir to Ambris, no run, 122 kph, full and straight. Just misses the yorker, but full enough that Ambir can't get underneath. He hits the ball back into his body
18.1
1
Sohail Tanvir to Shillingford, 1 run, bat on ball from Shillingford. Good length around off, defended to cover

The Stars at least 40 runs below par. Can they at least get to 110? Tanvir will finish.

Rashid Khan to Ambris, no run, 87 kph, flat outside off, goes through and beats the bat. Another terrific spell from Rashid

W
Rashid Khan to Cornwall, OUT, makes a tough catch look so incredibly easy. One of the best fielders in the world. Flight outside off, Cornwall is hanging on the back foot - primarily because he can't read Rashid and prefers to read him off the pitch - but Rashid knows exactly what's happening. He bowls this full. Cornwall's balance is on the back foot and so even he can't time it properly. Guptill, at long-off, has to run in and to his right. Gets there and completes a quality catch with a forward dive

Rashid Khan to Ambris, 1 run, crashed away to deep midwicket
17.3
0
Rashid Khan to Ambris, no run, chaos. Ambris runs eight runs and still has time to question Cornwall's reluctance. Flat and straight, pushed away to where short mid-on would be. Rashid has to run around, gets there, balances and throws towards the keeper. Ambris goes back and makes it, just.

Rashid Khan to Cornwall, 1 run, another googly, Cornwall flat-bats a muscular heave to deep midwicket. Paul saves three with some good fielding

Sohail Tanvir to Cornwall, 1 run, punched to cover. Cornwall sends his partner back, cover fields well and throws at the non-striker's end. Misses and concedes an overthrow. No need for the throw there. Tanvir agrees
16.4
6
Sohail Tanvir to Cornwall, SIX, muscled away over square leg! That's what they need. A short delivery on middle and leg, Cornwall brings out all his power and sends the ball soaring over
