END OF OVER:
20 | 12 Runs | GAW: 146/8 | RR: 7.30

  • Mohammad Hafeez38 (31b)
  • Ashmead Nedd1 (3b)
  • Dwayne Bravo2-0-17-1
  • Dominic Drakes4-0-26-3

Himanshu will be back with you shortly for the chase.

Fawad Ahmed: [on bowling to Pooran] He's one of the best in the world right now especially to spin. Short boundaries too which makes it really hard for a bowler. Thanks to Fab, he got him quickly in the next over (smiles). [on Bravo] He's leading from the front, we're like a family now and really enjoying ourselves. We've got a long batting line-up so hopeful of chasing it. If someone bats longer, it gets easier towards the end of the innings.

11.40am: So 10 runs came off the last three balls - if that's near the winning margin, will Bravo regret not running out Hafeez at the non-striker's end? Hafeez started very slow, and out of rhythm, but found his range at the end to give the score a much-needed boost. Pooran's cameo was very valuable, as was Hemraj's contribution up top. Drakes was the most successful bowler with 3 for 26, excellent returns despite a slightly expensive last over.

Bravo to Mohammad Hafeez, 2 runs, spears in the yorker on the stumps, and Hafeez flicks it off his toes even as he's losing balance, gets it through midwicket

Bravo to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR, slower ball results in a full toss and Hafeez smacks it to the deep square leg boundary again. One-bounce four. I

Last two balls coming up.

Bravo to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR, slower ball, dragged down shorter, and Hafeez rocks back to pull this to the square leg boundary. He was expecting the slower one.

Haroon Farooq: "Poor game awareness by Professor who crossed on the last ball of the previous over" -- yep. Don't know why he did it.

Bravo to Nedd, 1 run, length ball, slower one again, this time he waits for it and adjust to push it to cover and sprint a quick single

Bravo to Nedd, no run, another slower yorker on target, he's looking to make room and whip it, can't connect again.

Ho ho ho, what do we have here. Bravo pulls out of his action and has a smile and finger pointed at Hafeez who was backing up way too far. Should have run him out me thinks, but opts to have a laugh and punch of fists with Hafeez, which is also nice.
