An excellent bowling display from the Warriors to limit TKR to a subpar 94 at their home ground in front of a jam-packed crowd. Imran Tahir led the way, outfoxing Russell and Bravo in a frugal spell of 2/8, while Motie remained cool as a cucumber, showing no signs of nerves in the all-important final. He picked up two wickets, including the prized scalp of Pollard, and conceded only seven runs. However, once again, the standout among the bowlers was Pretorius, who employed all his bag of tricks and snapped up four wickets, including the crucial scalp of Pooran. TKR tried to go after the bowlers from the very first ball, with hardly any ground shots. They struggled to break free throughout the innings, meandering their way to a total of 94. It could be a straightforward chase for the team that is in red-hot form. I will be back with you for the chase. Cheers

Afeef: "TKR decide to save their worst batting performance for the final. And why on Earth is Guptill not playing?

Josh: "This has been embarrassing by the West Indian stars….. having Carty show the truly big names now to play with Maturity in a final"

Nauman : "@DaWolf, that's precisely the problem with WI cricket today, still glorifying the stars of yester years. Yes, they may still spark every now and then but their current crop is weak. Even guys like Pooran, Hetmyer are just stars on paper. Not meteoric in any way"

Srinath: "Can someone enlighten us on who these amazing performers are and what songs they are singing?" I have no idea, but some of them reminded me of a few Bollywood songs, with similar compositions

Beaton to Carty, OUT, Hetmyer charges in from boundary at long-on to take a staggering running catch! Kept his eyes on the ball and timed his dive to perfection as Carty larrups it over the bowler's head but just didn't get enough power as TKR bundle out for 94. Carty is despondent but he is top-scorer for TKR as only two other batters (Deyal and Walton) got into double-figures. It's a sorry looking scorecard

Imran Tahir to Carty, no run, Has he got himself run-out? Big mix-up in the middle as he clips this full ball towards mid-on. Fielder hunts it down quickly and pings a sharp throw, not sure if Imran Tahir lost the ball while trying to whip off the bails as the batter is not even in the picture. Third umpire took a long hard look from different camera angles and Waqar survives as Tahir did lose the ball while whipping off the bails. The single was never on and Waqar was keen on taking a single, was sent back by Carty

Pretorius to Ali Khan, OUT, Traps his lbw! Fraction shorter and it jags back just enough to beat his defence as Ali Khan is caught on the crease. Squealing for an lbw and the umpire nods in approval, raises the finger. Ali decides to take a second opinion on it, hoping against hope and it's three reds so he has to go. His team wanted him to tee off and hit a few out of the park but he has lost his wicket.
