12:56 TKR maintains their undefeated run in CPL 2019 and jumps back to the top of the table on eight points ahead of the also undefeated Guyana Amazon Warriors on six points. We'll see if the bowlers lick their wounds to come back with something in it for them this weekend. That's all for me and Sreshth Shah on commentary tonight. I'm Peter Della Penna, good night!
Kieron Pollard: "The challenge for us was coming on the road. We've been at home the first three games. The guys went out and played fantastically well."
Chris Gayle: "Difficult to lose four games in a row. The bowling unit didn't come to the party and we dropped too many chances. To score over 200, the batting was pretty decent but Sunday is do or die so hopefully we come out and get a win. Another injury blow to our team again with Rovman Powell. Maybe we hit the beach, wash off and come back again."
Colin Munro named Man of the Match: "Not bad. Obviously coming off a few low scores in Sri Lanka in international duty. Lendl came out and put the bowlers under pressure. I usually look square but the shots down the ground, that's when you know you're batting well. The reverse, if you don't know which way it's going you just go for that. I've been out to [Zahir] three times so I can't pick him. I knew it was his first game tonight and he would be under pressure."
12:38 a.m. TKR continue to roll along in CPL 2019 with another dominant display. Tallawahs not only lose in the standings column but may have lost Rovman Powell for a significant amount of time with what looked like a fairly serious ribcage straight. We may know more in a few days and they can ill afford to lose more players with Andre Russell ruled out due to concussion.
It's not often a team chasing ends on 226 and is still woefully short of the target but the Tallawahs bowlers shoulder the blame for this with a whopping 7 no balls.
The New Zealander, who admits to not always being able to pick the turn off the left-arm wristspinner's hands, has brought in an innovative tactic and executed it to good effect
