Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: @himanshu_a30

1.39pm A remarkable win in the end. 255 was always going to be a mountain of a score to cross, and the Kings eventually fold up for just 135. Although David provided some entertainment with 56 from 28 balls, no other Kings batter contributed. But boy what an innings it was from Russell to propel his side - 50* from 14 balls, a tournament record - including bashing six sixes. Debutant Pretorius chipped in with 4 for 32, and eventually it is a massive win for his side.

Here's the man of the moment Russell, who is of course Player of the Match: "Just got there with a clear frame of fine. Kennar really set the tone for us. Well played by the boys. As a big hitter, I come low down... Nine times out of ten I think I can do what I did today. They call this ground the bullring. It is a small ground, so once you are off target, you are bound to get hit. When I bowl a short ball, I jerk it [the ankle] a bit. When I go back to the hotel, some ice on it..."

Kings captain du Plessis: "I think our bowling was rusty. A lot of guys coming off a lack of cricket. Obviously there is a wind factor there
too many boundaries were scored with the wind today. When you are chasing a score like 250, you have got to go hard up front - either it is going to go or you are going to lose wickets. Even with the resources we have, we can do better. Today execution and plans both let us down. The planning today was slightly off. Hopefully we can learn from this quickly."

The winning captain Powell: "Pretty satisfied [with the record score on the ground]
We know Andre is a world-class player. We try to keep him happy. Pretorius got wickets in the powerplay. I think we are still thinking to get forward, and not get carried away. The boundaries and short, and wind is a factor
 "

Right then, after that carnage from Russell and co, it is time that we take a break and relax, before awaiting the start of the day's second game between the Barbados Royals and the Trinbago Knight Riders. Until then, it is goodbye from Shashank, Binoy and me, Himanshu!

Khan to McCoy, OUT, taken at long-on, and the Tallawahs romp home by 120 runs! A short of a length ball on off, and McCoy goes to pull from deep in his crease. But he doesn't get the distance, even though the ball seemed to be travelling pretty fast

Khan to Wahab Riaz, OUT, hits the leg stump! This was full and straight on leg, as Wahab tried to slog across the line toward the leg side, but was beaten. Tallawahs now just one wicket away from a huge win

Imran into his third, and he comes over the wicket
