England win by 98 runs. England were far too strong as expected. Thailand produced a couple of moments early having them 2 for 7. But then Heather Knight and Nat Sciver put on a masterclass. Knight made her first T20I century. Then it was a professional performance with the ball. Chantam made 32 but the lack of experience against this kind of bowling was evident. A good win for England. A good learning experience for Thailand.

Heather Knight is Player of the Match.

Heather Knight: "We were gutted after the performance the other day so nice to bounce back. Nice to be able to contribute. It was about staying calm, keeping it simple, not panicking and building a partnership. It's sometimes hard to keep your standards so I thought we did that well. I thought it was quite a clinical performance. Every game is a must win game for us now. We've got a long way to go."

Sornnarin Tippoch: "It was a challenging game for us but we tried to do our best on the field. We're always trying to improve on the aggressive side of our game. In T20 the nature of the game is trying to get runs on the board so we'll work hard on our batting game."

Thanks for your company for this match. It was the first of a double header from Canberra with West Indies taking on Pakistan shortly so stick around for that.

Calitha: "One of the things that has to be remembered about the Thailand team is that they've only been playing for 13 years. Unlike every other nation here, they don't have anyone who has grown up playing and watching cricket. And they certainly seem to be learning with every match." Very true Calitha. The England team are world class touring professionals. The Thailand girls are amateurs with nowhere near the money or resources to work at their game.
