Bangladesh must feel let down by the way their spinners finished. Almost all their spinners began economically but were not spared of Green's assault. Bates also was happy to target them and the batters were aided by some sloppy catching and fielding. How big a win can New Zealand register? Or do Bangladesh have it in them to hunt this down? The experienced Bates carried her bat to finish unbeaten on 81 and scored 60 runs in the last five overs. It was all down to Green's blitz at the end.

Maddy Green: "The way they were bowling and the way Suzie batted, it allowed her to finish on a high. Just tried to get as many as we can. The aim is to finish on a high total and restrict them. Bates is quite tired, understandable given the running she did. Quickly got to get changed and come back on. Bates might be standing in the ring for a while (laughs). She was running hard and was awesome."
