3:26pm The highest score of this year's Women's T20 World Cup (yet), and South Africa were full value for it. Wolvaardt set the tone early and made the most of the field restrictions, going through the in-field and over it regularly. Brits grew into her innings and kept the scoring rate up, even after the departure of her skipper. Kapp was their lynchpin thereafter and her 24-ball 43 was pivotal in SA going past the 160-run mark.

A middling outing with the ball for Scotland. The pitch was not as slow as previous ones but Scotland probably allowed South Africa too many full balls to take the surface out of the equation. They did come back a little towards the end to pick up a few wickets but the damage had been done by then. They now have a mountain to climb and if they get there, we will have seen something truly special. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Darcey Carter: Definitely a good pitch. 160 is a pretty good score but it (the pitch) looks a lot better than previous matches. I was just trying to bowl my best first ball. Really pleased to get a wicket (off my first ball). (On her bowling) I probably consider it my first skill but we have some high-quality spinners, so don't mind not bowling. (On her fielding) You are always guaranteed to field in cricket and that is something I pride myself on. On a good pitch, against good opposition, diving (to stop runs) and taking catches…it really helps.

KE Bryce to Dercksen, 1 run, safe, but it is just a single to finish. Six off the final over! Slot ball on off. Dercksen, though, tries to hit it too hard and cloths it. Gets elevation but no distance and the ball lands just in front of long on, who was running in. An anti-climactic end to what was otherwise a fast-paced South African innings!

This is the highest score at this T20 World Cup so far

KE Bryce to Luus, FOUR, boundary off the first ball! Zipped in full just outside off. Luus walks a mile across and gets bat on it, just in time. Enough on it to beat short fine leg too!

Slater to Tryon, OUT, in the air and taken at long on! In the slot outside off and ordinarily, that is in Tryon's arc. She launches it high up but that may have come off the bottom part of the bat. Horley settles herself under it and snaffles up the chance!

Slater to Tryon, no run, back of a length on middle and leg. Tryon has a huge swing at it but does not get the purchase she is after. Pings off her pads towards short fine leg. Okay, looks like Scotland, who did not appeal very vociferously, are interested enough in the lbw to take it upstairs. Seemed to be heading down leg, let's see what Ball Tracking has in store. UltraEdge and Ball Tracking are taking awfully long to build up. There are murmurs all the way through but when the ball is next to the glove, the murmur is a little sharper. Third umpire concludes the ball has grazed the glove, and the original decision stands!

Slater to Luus, 4 byes, oopsie! Floaty full toss wide outside off. Luus throws the kitchen sink at it and the ball seems to squirm under the bat. There is no chance Sarah can anticipate that and the ball goes through her!

KE Bryce to Kapp, OUT, gone this time! Scotland's star all-rounder takes out South Africa's star all-rounder! Fullish outside off. Kapp knows there is no one on the fence on the off side and chances her arm. Loses her shape a smidgen, though, and that means the bat face opens upon contact. Slices it tamely and Carter gobbles up the chance at point, high to her left. A very enterprising knock, though, and it has set South Africa up very nicely!

Bell to Kapp, 1 run, floated up full outside off. Kapp takes a step down and drives it slightly uppishly towards the bowler, who in trying to field it, inadvertently pushes it into the off side. Replays, though, indicate that that indeed carried and will go down as a chance. Scraped the right hand before hitting Bell's body and rolling away
