Scorecard and ball-by-ball details

Comilla Victorians bounced back from their 30-run loss against Rajshahi Kings by crushing table-toppers Khulna Titans by nine wickets. Shoaib Malik, who took the new ball on a slow, grippy pitch, and seamer Al-Amin Hossain claimed three wickets each and dismissed Khulna for 111 before Comilla's captain Tamim Iqbal led the chase with a breezy 64 - his second successive fifty in the league. Notably, this was the first BPL game without a single six.

Comilla rattle Khulna's top
Mahedi Hasan set the tone for Comilla when he got Rilee Rossouw skew an offbreak to Dwayne Bravo at backward point for a golden duck. Malik then bowled Nazmul Hasan Shanto with an arm ball to reduce Khulna to 8 for 2. Malik pressed onto dismiss Afif Hossain and Nicholas Pooran in his next two overs.

When Mohammad Saifuddin had Mahmudullah holing out to deep midwicket in the seventh over, Khulna were 40 for 5.

Enter Al-Amin
Things went from bad to worse for Khulna as Al-Amin sliced through the middle order. He first had Carlos Brathwaite holing out to wide long-on for 13 and also accounted for Jofra Archer and Ariful Haque, who top-scored with a run-a-ball 24.

That Khulna crept past 100 was down to a 23-run partnership for the ninth wicket between Shafiul Islam and Kyle Abbott - the highest stand of the innings - before both fell to pace. Abbott dragged a catch to midwicket while Hasan flattened Shafiul's off stump to wrap up the innings.

Tamim fires again
The Comilla captain followed his 63 against Rajshahi Kings with an equally punchy innings, this resulting in a win for his side. He set to work by hitting Afif for three fours in the first over before cutting Archer for another four in the third over.

Liton, meanwhile, struck Shafiul for two fours in the fourth over to help knock 32 runs from the target.

Tamim kept attacking, hammering 16 runs off Abu Jayed's first over to cap the Powerplay. Liton then fell in the eighth over when he miscued a pull off Abbott for 21, but Tamim sprinted to a fifty off 30 balls and hung on with Imrul Kayes to seal the chase with 37 balls to spare.
