Nifty contributions from Rahul, Padikkal and Kadam helped Karnataka, but the anchor was their captain Manish Pandey, who struck a very important 60 to remain not out at the end. R Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers, and his double-wicket over to remove Rahul and Agarwal seemed to give TN the advantage around the end of the Powerplay, but Karnataka's middle order showed their experience to help the team come out of the hole they had dug.
