4:16pm What an incredible recovery this from Australia - they scored 86 for 1 in the last ten overs to effectively bat India out of the game, thanks to four dropped catches from India. The mood was way different at 78 for 4, when Reddy ran through the top order. That spell of swing had Australia on the mat but they showed why they are one of the most-feared and consistent teams in the women's circuit. Sutherland showed to the world why she is promoted in the batting line-up. She battled the severe heat conditions to notch up a fine century, becoming the first Australian player to score a WODI century batting at no.5 or lower. Gardner, who found runs hard to come by in ODIs this year, gave her company with a half-century of her own - aided by a couple of chances from India. And then McGrath exhibited Australia's batting depth by bring up her own fifty after coming in at No. 7.
Nothing to write home about India's bowling apart from Reddy's best - her 4 for 26 are the third-best figures by a visiting bowler in Australia against Australia in WODIs. Will India be able to make a match out of it under lights? We'll find out shortly with Shashank at the helm
Sampath: Australia scored 220 runs after the fall of their fourth wicket today. Only once has a team scored more after the fall of fourth wicket in a women's ODI innings - 223 by Australia vs India in 2022 at Mackay

Both players are down on their haunches. The umpires thought it was the end of the over, before they realised the folly
