Rose: "Weird seeing Tahir being tonked around by retired cricketers and now taking 3-16 against current pros!"

Shahid khan: "KK are easily 50 runs short here.. keeping dew and other factors in mind"

Thanks, Raghav. So Karachi Kings have loitered along to 124, a below-par total considering the average first innings score at this venue in the previous edition was 167.7. They commenced sluggishly on the back of a circumspect start from Babar and Sharjeel. Despite remaining unscathed for the first nine or so overs and Sharjeel finding his gears, the rest of the batting line-up failed to up the ante in the middle overs. Imran Tahir then spun a web around their faltering middle-order, taking a sublime 3/16 in his four overs to put the Sultans in the driving seat. The run-chase should be relatively straightforward for the defending champions who have a wonderful chance to put the ghosts of NSK behind them and draw first blood in PSL 2022.

Handing it back to Momin from here on.

Imran Khan to Aamer Yamin, 1 bye, slower, short ball outside the ball. He looks to pull it and misses. Rizwan looks to throw and doesn't get the direct hit going. So does Imran.

Imran Khan to Gregory, 1 no ball, full-toss! Whipped straight into the hands of the fielder at wide long-on. He could've hit it anywhere he wanted but slogged it straight into the hands of the fielder. A late no-ball call as Imran Khan was found to have overstepped

Willey to Gregory, FOUR, short of a good length delivery outside the off stump. Finally a solid connection with the bat as he pulls it to deep midwicket for a boundary. One can be harsh and says that the boundary could've been saved but that's only because of what we have seen over the years

Shahnawaz Dahani to Clarke, OUT, fuller ball on the leg stump line. He flicks it straight into the waiting hands of the fielder at deep midwicket. Clarke and Nabi couldn't accelerate enough and it might come back to bite Karachi Kings
