Saim Ayub entertained us royally with an array of eye-catching strokes and anchored the innings with a 73-run knock. Babar Azam was looking dangerous but a stunning grab from Shadab Khan at mid-off brought about his demise at 25. Mohammad Haris got going today and didn't let the intensity drop, slamming a quickfire 40 and then handy cameos from Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Aamer Jamal pushed the score to 185/6. Islamabad United managed to pull things back towards the end as at one stage Peshawar were on course for a 200 total but they lost momentum in the middle overs. Naseem Shah was menacing as usual and returned 3/30, bowled many cutters and pace-off deliveries that worked a treat, while Imad Wasim didn't take any wickets tonight but kept batters quiet with figures of 0/23. I'll be back shortly for the start of the second innings
mzbrs: "We are not anywhere in the soccer nations, but still we have a 'Neymar'(Naseem Shah) in turms of injuries."
Qasim Malik: "No signs of Hunain Shah throughout the innings. Not even for the last over. Why? " I have no idea and I'm as surprised as you
GormintAunty: "Was Hunain playing on the modelling quota? Why wasn't he bowled?"
AB: "Why did Hunain not bowl today?"
Ali Hashmi: "IU has played Hunain Shah as a bowler without giving him the ball. Why are you destroying the confidence of a youngster? It would be better if IU had not played at all."
