2.36pm: Northants should be pretty chuffed with a lead of 81, thanks in no small part to that Berg-Sanderson stand for the last wicket. Sussex bowled reasonably well given the absence of their attack leader, Ollie Robinson, but without quite managing to sustain the pressure on Northants throughout the innings. Big hour or so coming up which could go a long way to deciding the game, as Sussex's faulty top order face the new ball.
