Great to have your company. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Saurabh Somani's bulletin should be up soon. Hope to see you tomorrow for the India-West Indies ODI in Guwahati. Until next time, cheers.

It's time for the presentation

Shreyas Iyer, the victorious Mumbai captain:

Aditya Tare is the Player of the Match for his sparkling 71.

"It was an important time where I had to step up under pressure," he says. "I was having a chance with Lad. I told him 'we haven't batted much this tournament, we may get a chance tomorrow. Let's win it for the team.' Glad it came through. We were struggling with the bowling unit in the past two years, now the bowlers have stepped up. Except for the final, all other games have been won single-handedly."

Gautam Gambhir: Bowlers tried their best but we couldn't put together enough runs on the board. I thought we were very consistent, but come the final, if you lose it's difficult when you're trying to make a comeback. 170 on this wicket was far less, we could've made a game out of it had we made 240-250. Navdeep Saini has been brilliant throughout, that's a good sign for him and Delhi cricket. It's time we start winning trophies, it should be hurting some of the young guys. The entire season is ahead of us, Ranji Trophy coming up and we should take a lot of confidence going into it and try and take one step ahead.

4.10pm What a dominating campaign for a side that was shrouded in doubts and selection issues just before the tournament. They had a new coach, some new personnel but the typical Mumbai flavour has been retained. They've been pushed to the wall a few times, have had a number of challenges but how they've emerged. It's the young crop that has risen through to form the narrative as far as the Vijay Hazare Trophy goes.

It's not like Delhi didn't even have a chance. Navdeep Saini brought alive what should have been a routine chase for Mumbai, blasting out three wickets and being denied a fourth due to over-stepping, but he couldn't stop Mumbai's march. Siddhesh Lad, who benefitted from a Saini no-ball when he drove tamely to point before opening his account, hit a 68-ball 48 while Aditya Tare carved out 71 (89 balls) in a match-defining 105-run stand for the fifth wicket.

Sidhanta Patnaik says: "Ranji Trophy 2015-16 final: Saurashtra's Cheteshwar Pujara drops Siddhesh Lad at first slip on 24. His 88 sets up Mumbai's 41st win. "

"Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018-19 final: Delhi's Navdeep Saini has Siddhesh Lad caught off a no-ball on 0. His 48 facilitates Mumbai's maiden win."

Lalit Yadav to Lad, OUT, in trying to clear the ropes for a glory hit, Siddesh Lad has perished. This has been hit straight down the throat of long-on. As easy as catches come to the man there.

Lalit Yadav to Lad, SIX, heaved over long-on, and boy he's picked the bones out of this. What a way to get to his half-century. Too much flight, he ensured he was right to the pitch as he got down on one knee and hit this with the spin

Bhati to Dube, SIX, Dubey is clearly the find of the tournament. Broke through the ranks in the Mumbai T20 league where he hit Pravin Tambe for five sixes. Here he sees a full delivery, stands tall, picks his spot and goes straight down the ground to clear wide long-on quite comfortably.
