    16.2 there it is! Perfect line, perfect length, awful shot. Starc keeps on rolling! There is no swing in the, no help off the deck. Just the primal energy that comes with a fast bowler on top of his game. He makes it happen. He puts fear in the heart of the batsman. Makes them play at balls - like this one on a good length, outside off, tempting the drive away from the body - that could easily be left alone because they don't have the time to make sound decisons. But with it having pitched not as full as Mathews expected - not to mention the quicker pace, from the Lyon going through his action a lot more. It kicks up just a tiny bit to take the top edge and Starc runs in from long leg to take a good catch, diving forward. Big strike, Lyon proving he has learnt his lessons 24/4

Silly batting from Warner, rushing down the pitch, giving his intentions up for the bowler to read like a book. De Silva pulled his length back, his skidder is helped by the fact the ball is very new. Warner realises he has to adjust his shot, he's also leg side of the ball, losing balance. Swishes at the ball, it ducks under his bat and Kusal Perera takes an outrageous catch off the bottom edge. Stays low. 21/1

The Australian wicketkeeper conjures a wicket, but waiting for a mistake the batsman would possibly never think of guarding against! He was beaten by a spitting offbreak, but it was on a shortish length so the turn is slow and it invariably beats the bat. Karunaratne was on the back foot, perhaps telling himself, "bad luck, mate. Next time" But he doesn't get the chance because that back foot lifts for just half a second. Nevill, that sneaky devil behind the stumps,. waits for that and flicks the bails off.     20.5 appeal for a catch behind the stumps, umpire Ravi says no. Australia go for a review immediately. This is flatter, from over the stumps, Kusal had set up for the reverse sweep, committed to the shot and though he tried to adjust, he is beaten. Went off the bicep, certainly but I don't see any bat, oh but a zoomer puts thing into better perspective. Poor third umpire. This is not entirely conclusive. The side-on replay seems to suggest the ball bounces off the side of the bat. So umpire Kettleborough goes to live footage to look for the noise of bat hitting ball. Takes his time, watches the side-on replay where the ball changes direction after hitting the top edge of the bat and says that is the case and overturns the decision. Good work from Nevill again, running in front to catch the ball around the pitch area. Good on Holland too to change his trajectory and line to trump. the batsman's reverse sweep. And a great call from the third ump 69/3

    21.4 he's walking, Mendis has taken a blinder at short leg! It came to him so quickly, he was following the ball all through standing so close. Eyes on it, and that helps his reflexes. Thrust his hands up at parries the ball and takes it on the rebound with on hand. Great effort. The bounce has done Marsh in, he thought it was going to be a simple ball that he could defend. That's perhaps why he defended at one pitching outside leg stump. The ball takes a lot of the pitch along with it, and that always tends to help a spinner. Sri Lanka go into lunch with smiles 77/1
