The Bears head into the summer as middle-of-the-pack long shots to win the Super Bowl at ESPN BET, with the seventh-best odds in the NFC. It's early, but betting interest in the Bears to win the Super Bowl at BetMGM has been in line with that on teams like the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins.

At 35-1, the Bears have their best preseason Super Bowl odds since 2019, according to odds archive SportsOddsHistory.com. Chicago is 3-1 to win the NFC North, behind the Detroit Lions (+145) and Green Bay Packers (+185).

Chicago is currently a 4.5-point home favorite over the Tennessee Titans for the team's Week 1 season opener. The Bears have gone 19-29-3 against the spread over the past three seasons, the second-worst ATS mark ahead of only the Carolina Panthers.

Do bettors believe the Bears can make the playoffs?

With Williams under center, the Bears have their best odds to make the playoffs in some time but are not garnering a lot of support from bettors to make the postseason. Yahoo Sports reported Thursday that more bets had been placed on the Bears to miss the playoffs at BetMGM than on any other team's postseason fate. The Bears' regular-season win total was at 8.5 (-150) as of Thursday at ESPN BET.

Are bettors buying Caleb Williams for Offensive Rookie of the Year?

Williams (+150), the current favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year at ESPN BET, was named the Bears' starter on May 10. He would become the first rookie quarterback to start a Bears season opener since Kyle Orton in 2005. Running back Anthony Thomas was the only Bears player to win Offensive Rookie of the Year, back in 2001. As of Thursday, Williams accounted for more than 41% of the money that's been wagered on BetMGM's rookie of year odds, the most of any player. Williams is also listed at 50-1 to win regular-season MVP and represents BetMGM's biggest early liability in the sportsbook's MVP odds.

The over/under on Williams' touchdown passes for the season is set at 22.5, with the over/under on passing yards set at 3,450.5.
