Excel Esports are finalizing terms for a two-year contract with former Origen AD carry Patrik "Patrik" Jírů, league sources told ESPN. On Saturday, Excel verbally agreed to a transfer that will see them acquire Tore "Norskeren" Hoel Eilertsen from Splyce. With these acquisitions and the hiring of former Fnatic coach Joey "Youngbuck" Steltenpool, Excel is looking to build a contender for the 2020 League of Legends European Championship season.
