While India did not have as medal-heavy a day as yesterday, India earned plenty of medals in athletics and even roller skating. Ancy Sojan leapt longer than she ever had to win a surprise silver, while Parul Chaudhary and Priti Lamba made it a double podium for India in the women's 3000m steeplechase.
The drama continued with India's bronze being upgraded to silver in the mixed 4x400m relay final, after Sri Lanka were disqualified for a lane infringment.
