Riot Games Oceania will host an on-site English broadcast of the League of Legends Pro League finals and regional gauntlet in Guangzhou, China, respectively on August 26 and 27-28, the company tells ESPN. The broadcast will run side-by-side with the live, on-site Chinese broadcast.
LPL casters Indiana "Froskurinn" Black, Mathew "Fish" Stewart and Zack "Rusty" Pye will tricast together for the duration of both events. The finals will be determined by semifinal matches that will take place on August 13-14, which will pit quarterfinal winners versus Royal Never Give Up and EDward Gaming, both of which took first in their LPL groups.

The regional gauntlet will pit the top six teams with Championship Points, based off their placements both in the spring and summer, against each other in order to fill the final spot for the LPL at the Riot Games World Championship in October.
Riot Games Oceania initially took over responsibilities for the LPL English broadcast at the beginning of 2015, when it began to regularly broadcast the LPL feed with its Australian talent from studios in Sydney. Prior to the official Riot broadcast, the LPL was broadcasted in English by a community group called LPLen, which was led by Froskurinn, fellow Riot caster Devin "PiraTechnics" Younge and theScore esports writer Kelsey Moser.
Since taking over the broadcast, the Oceanic region has added more and more talent of casters to its lineup, including Froskurinn, Fish and Rusty.
