Digital Chaos took down EHOME, 2-0, in dominating fashion.

The perennial underdog team guaranteed itself a top four finish in The International and did so with quick, easy games; this set was just the latest in a highly unexpected miracle run. Digital Chaos made it to The International after a close 3-2 victory in the North American Qualifier over compLexity Gaming. Then, the team continued to surprise with a top finish in the group stage with an 11-3 record. In the main event, after falling to Wings Gaming, Digital Chaos took down Chinese juggernauts LGD Gaming and EHOME as well as the other surprise team in the tournament, TNC Pro Team.

Once the games against EHOME began, Digital Chaos' victory was never in doubt. It was a crushing 2-0 set with both games finishing in less than 38 minutes. Game 1 was the David "Moo" Hull show, as his Timbersaw was unstoppable. EHOME drafted a Sand King to contest the solo Timbersaw lane, but Moo found his farm and ended up being a persistent thorn in EHOME's paw. He ended the game with a 8-1-9 record, but his impact was greater than the numbers alone suggest. Moo started many fights with an aggressive chain and overextension that allowed the rest of his team to follow through and finish off the opposition.

Game 2 was only a slightly different story. EHOME took control of the early lane phase, but Digital Chaos found the better kills and fights. Digital Chaos brilliantly played around the long cooldowns of EHOME's ultimates and punished accordingly. The end score, 26 Digital Chaos kills against 11 EHOME kills, was a near-identical score to game 1: 24-7.

Although the predictions may have said otherwise, the actual games were firmly in favor of Digital Chaos with no real comeback potential for EHOME. Digital Chaos continued its Cinderella run and now looks to be one of the favorites to win The International, which is a far cry from the outlook for this team in the beginning.

On Friday, Digital Chaos will play the winner of MVP Phoenix vs. Fnatic in round 5 of the lower bracket.
