CLG returns to form in epic upset over ROX

After dropping a game to wild card Albus Nox Luna, North America's Counter Logic Gaming rose up to beat the League of Legends 2016 World Championship favorites, ROX Tigers. The squad from South Korea fell pray to a Level 1 roam from CLG mid laner Choi "Huhi" Jae-hyun's Aurelion Sol, and the game spiraled out of control from there.

The clever play opened up a second kill for CLG seconds later, furthering its early game lead. Huhi continued to exert control by roaming, pressuring and harassing. At 17-minutes, CLG was up 6.5k gold, and Huhi held a monstrous Kill/Death/Assist line of 7/0/0. Even Kim "PraY"Jong-in, the ace AD carry that many consider one of the best in the world, was dropped almost instantly in a 1 vs. 1 against Huhi.

Huhi's only death came at the end, a sacrifice of sorts to ensure CLG cleaned up a team fight. Marching into the base, CLG took the Nexus at 36:30. Both teams now sit at 2-1 in Group A.
