EternaLEnVy alleges failed payments and misconduct from Team Secret

New allegations of misconduct within the Team Secret organization have come to light. In a blog post (which is down at the time of publication because of heavy traffic) by Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao, the former Secret player detailed issues the team faced over the past year, including pay discrepancies and conflicting interests between players and management.

In the lengthy blog posted on Team NP's site, Mao recalls a payout structure which was supposed to split tournament winnings evenly among the players, with no cut for the organization. Instead, according to Mao, a 10 percent cut was silently taken, with only captain Clement "Puppey" Ivanov being aware and allowing it. Several players have yet to receive owed payments from prize pools as well, with Mao claiming $29,333 in owed prize cuts.

Mao also says that many sponsorship deals paid money solely to the organization, and the players were never given a salary, despite being verbally guaranteed one. The PandaTV deal, which required Secret players to stream exclusively on PandaTV's service for a set amount of time, also fell through due to Ivanov not putting in his required stream time.
