Fnatic will sign support Zdravets "Hylissang" Iliev Galabov for its 2018 roster, sources close to the player and organization told ESPN. Hylissang will replace Fnatic support Jesse "Jesiz" Le, with coaching not being off the table for Jesiz, sources said. Jesiz previously coached on Immortals before returning to Europe to compete with Fnatic as a support.
Hylissang's contract with his current team, Unicorns of Love, expires Monday. He will then be allowed to sign starting Tuesday - the opening of the Riot Games global free agency period - with Fnatic, one of Europe's top League of Legends teams.
The veteran support will join Martin "Rekkles" Larsson in the team's bottom lane, who is expected to sign a new agreement and stay with Fnatic, sources said. His current contract with the team also ends on Monday.
Hylissang had negotiated with new North American League of Legends Championship Series team OpTic Gaming, where the Unicorns' former manager Romain Bigeard is currently working, sources said. He also discussed a potential return to Unicorns of Love. Fnatic came as a result of a desire to play with Rekkles, according to sources.
Hylissang has been with the Unicorns of Love his entire professional career, since 2014. He and top laner Kiss "Vizicsacsi" Tamás were the last remaining members of the team's original lineup.
Fnatic and Unicorns of Love did not respond to requests for comment.
