Counter-Strike: Team Liquid beat Fnatic for IEM Sydney title

Team Liquid outlasted Fnatic 3-2 on Sunday to win the grand final of the $250,000 IEM Sydney Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.

Fnatic started strong, dealing Team Liquid its first map loss of the tournament by winning 16-10 on Cache.

But Team Liquid responded with wins on Overpass (16-14) and Mirage (16-8). Fnatic then won Dust 2 handily,16-6, to force a deciding map.

Liquid jumped out to an 11-4 lead on the final map, Inferno, before holding on for the 16-9 victory and the title.
